Apartamentos Beira-Mar

Pros: Location next to the beach. Good supermarket nearby. Good wifi. Clean. Well-equipped apartment. Spacious. Electric kettle to make tea or coffee. Responsive host.

Cons: Lack of elevator and the apartment is located on the second floor. Hot water run out quickly in the shower barely enough for 1 person however this is a common problem in Cape Verde as people utilise a small electric water boiler. Water leakage from the hand bidet next to the toilet. Couldn't use the stove because lighter wasn't provided.

Pros: The apartment is modern, spotless clean and well equipped. Amazing sunset view from the rooftop.

Incredible stay

Pros: The Service of the Host and her cleaning lady was superb. The took care of many things, Questions getting anderes quickly, helped you with finding places to eat and overall gave you recommendations what to do in Mindelo and around.

Cons: Sometimes I wish there was an airconditioner installed, but the fan did the job too.

Pros: Super friendly and available host. Really close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Couldn't have hoped for a better stay

Lovely place in Mindelo, near the beach

Pros: Amazing property and location, quiet spot but very modern building, feels quite European. The flat is perfectly equipped, with everything you could possibly want in the kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, new mattresses. Bathroom is very clean, excellent shower, with great hot water, and a hairdryer provided. I personally really loved having a decent sized fridge, coffee machine, and a hob, so I could prepare my own meals. The owner was amazing too, available on WhatsApp almost 24/7, very quick to respond. She kindly organised to collect our payment and ordered a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay. She spoke great English too, so we had no trouble communicating.

Cons: We specifically requested to have 2 separate beds and 2 sets of bedding, and reminded about it twice, but there was still only one double bed prepared for us. Not a problem though - someone had separated the beds and provided extra bedding within hours of asking, before our first night, so there were no issues after all.

Comfortable, clean, modern and pleasant

Pros: The location is very good, near the beach, a decent mini supermarket and some restaurants. It is of the right size and efficiently laid out. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedroom has a bed of proper size and the bed has a sturdy mattras. (which we like) The bathroom is spacy with a nice shower. Coffee and thea are provided. Services are well organized. Maribel, who is responsible for cleaning is around all day and very friendly. Irina is managing everything from a distance but is quick to react. Reinaldo is a nice and honest taxi driver, so ask for him

Lovely apartment

Pros: Great, modern apartment close to the beach, restaurants and minimarket. Helpful host. Fully equipped kitchen.

Cons: General water outage was unfortunate, but staff brought us plenty of bottled tap water to shower and did their best to fix the outage.

Clean and modern.

Pros: The place was very clean, modern and comfortable. Probably the nicest place we’ve stayed at during our travels in Cape Verde. There was coffee, tea and water to welcome us. Irina was easily reachable via WhatsApp and sent a very nice driver for us to the airport who then became our tour guide for a day.
