I felt it.

Pros: Location. I stayed at the centre of the island, which was most convenient. The local shop makes a heavenly place into a paradise. For anyone looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the place. Walkable distance from the beach. And you're feeling really adventurous, like me, the neighbouring towns such as Santa Maria 2h, Palmeria, and Espargos are also walkable. Otherwise, you can always catch a Haice and the journey shouldn't take more than 16 mins tops.

Cons: Nothing.

Quiet home-from-home

Pros: Lovely, relaxing, quiet apartment away from the main tourist spots but with good basic amenities within the complex and next to a pretty beach with a fun bar.

Cons: It wasn't 100% clear how to pay from the information provided so I arrived without enough cash - easily sorted though.

Jeg likte å bo her - det var fredelig.

Pros: Beliggenhet var bra, og det var rent. Det var ikke vanskelig å komme seg til Santa Maria med taxi eller Aluguers. Aluguers er mye billigere - bare stå ved veien så stopper de for deg og du betaler ca 1 euro for å komme deg til Santa Maria. Det var fint svømmebasseng og plass til å sole seg. Restauranten ved svømmebassenget hadde hyggelig personal og god mat til en rimelig pris.

Cons: Vanntrykket i vasken og dusjen var dårlig et par av dagene, i tillegg til vanntemperaturen. Det var samtidig ikke noe problem for meg.

Een hele fijne tussenstop voor onze hike van Espargos naar Santa Maria

Pros: Fijne plek in leuk lokaal-toeristisch plaatsje met 2 leuke restaurantjes en zoutwater zwembad. In de omgeving mooi strand maar verder niet heel veel te doen. Een hele fijne tussenstop voor onze hike van Espargos naar Santa Maria

Cons: Iets verouderd maar voor ons zeker geen probleem, tv had geen ontvangst, radio wel!
