Pros: Excellent location in the heart of Santa Maria. If you want to feel almost like a local and blend with the neighborhood, this is a great place to stay at. The entire team was really friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Even if they provide an amazing rooftop for guests to chill at and dry their beach towels, the timings to use it are quite restrictive.

Great location and big apartment
Pros: We loved the location and the space of the apartment. We were less than 10 minutes away from the beach. The staff was very nice as well. The roof terrace was also quite spacious and all was clean

Pros: Very quiet and peaceful with good location to central santa maria and easy to find.
Cons: Our room had no exterior windows but this did mean it was quiet and avoided noise from the streets.

Stay at Animos Apartments
Pros: We had a great stay at Animos Apartments! The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, which made our experience very comfortable. Communication with the owner was fast and efficient, ensuring everything went smoothly. Good location with three shops nearby for convenience, and just a 5-minute walk to the beach.
Cons: Howling homless dogs EVERY single morning around 4-5am.

NO STRESS STAY!!!! CHOOSE THIS ONE
Pros: EVERYTHING, VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND HOST! Keyless digital pad entry at main door and apartment door. Facing a street with vendors and market. So have to be ok with the noise. I enjoyed it as entertainment and the artwork on the buildings from the balcony. Just a 10-15 walk to the beach. A store around the corner for food and necessities. IT HAS HOT WATER WITH GREAT PRESSURE! Has AC , which I didn't need because the place had a natural coolness to it and you can slide open the balcony door and enjoy the fresh air. The ROOFTOP Chill zone is great as well.
Cons: Stair access only; two flights to 1st floor, two more to 2nd floor, two more to rooftop, so grab help with heavy luggage (typical on the island). So no biggie if no health issues. Little black mold forming in shower, just clean with vinegar.

Pros: Easy check-in, very clean, amazing apartment, walking distance from everything, you cannot ask for more. There are shops next door, friendly people in the street, restaurants everywhere, and the beach is just there. Good water pressure in the showers ( for an island with lack of water ). The cleaning lady Lucinda she is lovely, like everyone in that island. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Pros: The apartment was very clean and had all the things needed for a relaxed stay. The host was very responsive on messages and all the information provided was clear.
Cons: The neighborhood is a bit noisy as it is by a market so some noise starts early in the morning.

Pros: I had an amazing stay at this apartment on the beautiful island of Sal. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the stunning beaches and vibrant local restaurants. The apartment was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The chill out area offered breathtaking views, especially during sunset, which made my evenings even more special. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. I also loved how quiet and peaceful the area was, making it an ideal place to relax. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Cape Verde!\

Nice Santa Maria stay
Pros: We liked the apartment, has everything you need for a vacation stay, is clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Nice rooftop terrace. If you have questions or need something, the owner is always available and responds quickly. A short walk from main pedestrian street and beach. Can recommend.
Cons: Some strange smell from under the sink cabinet, needs to be adressed. Otherwise the apartment very clean, up to European standards.
