Hotel Por Do Sol

Pros: Everything! Great value for money, breakfast was really nice, the room was comfortable and the staff were really nice and on top of things. Lots of nice spots nearby

Cons: The road is quiet to walk down alone at night, but that's the case for the entire area.

Cons: Our room was on the breakfast floor, a little bit noisy and there was an automatic light switching on and of on our window all night.

A comfortable hotel with almost all the necessary amenities

Pros: The staff is very friendly. We had booked a room without a balcony, but unfortunately the internet wasn't working. We spoke to the receptionist and she moved us to a room with a balcony in an attempt to improve the internet signal. Breakfast is served on the top floor, outdoors. There are a few options, including bread, cakes, fruit, and eggs. I thought it was sufficient! Overall, a comfortable hotel close to everything.

Cons: Despite changing rooms, the internet connection was too weak... It was impossible to maintain a connection in the room. The first room was interior, with no windows to the outside, only to the hotel's interior corridor.

Good place to stay in Tarrafal. Value/price ratio is ok.

Relaxing stay, great rooftop

Pros: We had a nice and relaxing stay at Tarrafal. The staff is super friendly and we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast at the rooftop terrace. Rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. It's a few minutes walk to the beach and not far from anywhere (restaurants, minimarket etc)

Cons: Just a small warning; The rooms are not really soundproofed, so you hear everyone coming back later or hurrying to the breakfast if you are close to the terrace.

Pros: Very quiet location a little way from the beaches; very comfortable rooms plus excellent breakfast and good dinner available.

Pros: The rooms are new modern, air contionned ,we had a little balcony with chairs and table, fridge is available and kettle in the room too. very nice terrace for breakfast with view both on sea and mountain. A hôtel to recommend.

Cons: Wifi is a bit weak in the room. Works well in the restaurant and réception.

Pros: The bedroom was very comfortable, and the staff was super nice. The restaurant had a great spaghetti with shrimps!

Pros: Great location, we had a spacious suite with sea view. Just 5 mins walk to centre of town. Opposite Kingfisher Village for bike rental and swimming. Very friendly.
