Friendly staff and okay stay

Pros: It was a very nice and clean place and the staff was really friendly. From the hotel it is a nice walk to the big tree down the hill.

Cons: The bed was quite small and uncomfortable. My boyfriends feet were sticking out. But we slept okay. I expected more of the city of Assomada. We ended up driving to other places and eating in the hotel during our stay.

Pros: Nice rooms with stunning views to the surrounding mountains. Very helpful and friendly staff. I can highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Assomada if you don't mind staying in the outskirts of the town. Close to the Kapok tree.

Good for one or two nights

Pros: Beautiful room with beautiful view! The staff spoke French and helped us with some questions about transport. The food at the restaurant was okey.

Cons: The mattress was very uncomfortable because you could feel the coils. A little outside of the center, but that also made it very quite.

Pros: The location, view from the room was amazing. We enjoyed the walk to the stunning tree nearby. Very nice owner and staff.

Pros: Everything about the hotel is perfect. The location is amazing with beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms are clean and spacious, the food was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and thanks to the kind owners who made us feel welcome. I highly recommend Splanada poilon.

Pros: We had a nice time at Splanada poilon. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast was nice and the staff is really nice. If you have the possibility, taste their grog from their own production. We also had dinner at their restaurant and the food was incredibly good.
