New, comfortable apartment in Praia

Pros: Spotless, newly refurbished, cozy small apartment with everything you need for your short or long stay. Very responsive and helpful host Rosa, who helped with arranging the airport transfer, despite being abroad herself. You can pay for the accommodation by card too, which is always helpful.

Faultless accommodation in an out of the way location and difficult to find.

Pros: Communication was excellent and the property was as advertised. We were able to watch some of the satellite tv in English. There was drinking water on arrival and the local shop within a minutes walk.

Cons: Our taxi from the airport took an hour to find the property. Although I had the details and directions on my phone, I needed WiFi to access them, which I didn’t have. Nor could I ring as I did not have that facility either. I wish I had screenshot the directions. Nor was there a plaque to highlight property name on arrival. Unfortunately, the address given was not enough for the taxi to find the property. Location was not ideal for us as it was a good walk to restaurants and cafes.

Pros: Liana hat uns die Umgebung gezeigt und sich dafür sehr viel Zeit genommen. Für einige Tage eine ausgezeichnete Unterkunft. Für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft nimmt man die Vorortlage gerne in Kauf. Mit dem Taxi ist man für 2 Euro im Zentrum.
