RM Green Hotel

Lovely place to really relax!

Pros: Beautiful location, beautiful views, lovely concept of the little ‘houses’. The sauna is absolutely great! We managed to get a tour through the taxi driver for the next day (so they could pick us up at the hotel instead of Porto Novo).

Cons: Bed is a bit small for someone >1.85m. Restaurant is quite expensive and the only way to get to the hotel is a €50 taxi from Porto Novo (but with beautiful views). :)

Pros: Best Italian Food on rhe Island thanks to fantastic Italian Chef.

Pros: The location is special on a cliff overlooking the ocean. On the other hand if you dont have a car you are completly depending on taxis to go anywhere. Good thing was that the restaurant was pretty good so you did not need to go out.

Cons: Not much to do in the hotel and around as stated above you need a taxi to go somewhere. Pool looks great but is too cold in winter to use it.

Astonishing views and cosy houses

Pros: The views are amazing, the infinity pool is special, the little houses are cute and still spacious. Parking places are available for free.

Cons: The staff at breakfast is pretty anemic. Ladies stand there and do not pay attention that items are missing (should be filled up immediately), for example: toast, fruits, juice, and cheese. Only after you tell them to bring more do they move. But \

Pros: This beautiful little hotel has the most breathtaking views of the ocean and hills beyond that I’ve ever seen. The little cabins are clean and have comfortable beds and each cabin has a terrace in a beautiful flower garden with a magnificent view.

Cons: Only a small suggestion would be to introduce more variation in the restaurant menu with a menu of the day. Easier for the chef and more varied menu if you stay multiple days.

Pros: The location is exceptional and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast is also very good and served to you directly. They can arrange a transfer for an additional fee, which could be a good option since the place is quite remote.

Cons: While some of the staff were very nice, others came across as rather indifferent. We stayed for one night, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the rooms, only in the restaurant. We also had dinner there, the portions were just enough, but the quality was not quite what you’d expect from a place like this.

Fab pool and views

Pros: Fabulous views, pool and lodgings ! Felt like you were in a beautiful place with the infinity pool, which was also warm and clean! Loved the bedroom and the shower was hot, the linen smelt great ! There were even hikes to do going up the hill towards the mountains ! Good Wi-Fi

Cons: -Room would have been perfect if there was complimentary water, a chair for the desk and a fridge. It's the only hotel I stayed in who didn't leave drinking water in the room. -4 young people came to the pool for the afternoon, presumably paid an entrance fee as they weren't staying in the hotel. They played their own music full blast for 2 hours, none of the 5 of us staying in the hotel dared to say anything! Very annoying as I was there to relax. -breakfast was much better the 2nd day, since there were few clients they didn't have buffet, which is understandable. - there is a menu for lunch and another one for dinner. I would have loved the midday ceviche in the evening but it wasn't possible...

Beautiful view

Pros: The accommodation was cute, spotlessly clean, and the views beautiful.

Cons: Accommodation is very isolated, so you are limited to only eating and staying at the accommodation unless you hire a car or really love hiking. Although they have a day menu, you are unable to choose some of the dishes as they say they are only evening meals. Then, in the evening, a lot of dinners requested were out of stock.

Great place to relax and switch off from everything ongoing

Pros: It was relaxing so you can really enjoy your rest time there

Cons: Unfortunately not all rooms have aircon, this would be great as sometimes the sun can hit quite hard
