Papaya Apartments Sal Island

Pros: - Well located within walking distance to the main part of town - Lots of restaurants, a supermarket and bakery locally - Modern furnishings - Staff in the office were friendly and communication was good

Cons: - No TV - Wifi signal was variable - Hot water was limited - Blackout curtains would be nice - Photos show a lovely terrace but you may not get this apartment - If you plan to cook, there are no basics (e.g salt, pepper etc)

Great apartment in sunny Santa Maria 💛

Pros: Excellent location, just a short walk to the beach and loads of great restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself was morden, clean and had all the amenities we needed! It was really easy to check in even though we had a late arrival time and Valle and Sonia were super helpful and responsive throughout out stay. Thank you 😊

Lovely comfy stay in Santa Maria

Pros: The apartment was perfect: clean, with everything that we needed, spacious, bright. The location is very nice as well: it's a five minute walk (even less) from the beach and from the main street with restaurants and bars. Our check-in and check-out experience was super nice: they let us check in a bit earlier without asking for anything extra. Overall, amazing experience.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like is that during our entire stay our apartment was never cleaned

Pros: - everything you need - friendly and helpful staff - sun terrace app. is very nice, waking up with a cup of coffee in the sun - location in the center away from the resorts

Cons: - nothing really

Pros: Papaya were very accommodating all week. It's in a prime location with pretty good facilities.

Cons: There was no TV but due to us only really being there to sleep, wash and relax it wasn't too much of an issue. We played games (which we brought with us). WiFi quite poor - we couldn't call or videocall anyone.

Beautiful apartments

Pros: Second stay in papaya apartments, they are very clean and modern. Staff are really nice and helpful. easy check in/out.

Cons: The only downside I would say is not having a TV, would be a nice addition as they have everything else you could want/need

Amazing apartment

Pros: Amazing location as it’s a 5 minute walk away from the beach and restaurants . It was very clean and tidy apartment . The staff are friendly and welcoming. The staff can speak multiple languages which is great .

Pros: I had a great stay at the Papaya Apartments in Sal, Cape Verde. It was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is clearly well taken care of and fully equipped. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach and the town center, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. One thing that really mattered to me, especially as I was traveling alone, was how safe and secure the place felt. I felt completely at ease during my entire stay. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Sal!

Pros: The apartment was absolutely lovely, especially the ones with a balcony. It's just a few minutes away from the beach, restaurants, and clubs—an ideal location! You really can’t go wrong with this apartment. The staff and owner were all warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

We had a blast!

Pros: Nice and modern property, close to the beach as well as several food places. We enjoyed the terrace very much! The stuff was super nice, helped us with a taxi to and from the airport. We will definitely be back!
