One of the best place we have ever visited.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts are amazing people, easy-going, warm and helpful. The surroundings are magical and the nature overwhelming. The restaurant run by the hosts offers super tasty food. Expect some spiders and other little animals/insects - especially at night ;) If you’re looking for a quiet place to have a peaceful rest in the middle of the nature, then it’s the perfect place to stay at. We wish we could stay longer!

Pros: We had a really good stay here! We loved the environment, we all had our own room (with 3) and we definitly felt like home here. What a beautiful view, what a nice place to hike and what a nice hosts. There's a lot of sounds here from animals, but that was part of the experience here. Waking up here was a gift; the cocks, birds, dogs, donkeys... No warm water, no WiFi, just nature. The food in the restaurant (we had breakfast and diner, also vegetarian) was good. People around were so friendly and helpful during our hike. We felt so safe. This was our favourite stay on Santiago. Thank you (obrigada)

Pros: I love the valley and the little house! Watching the stars at night from the terrace and listening to the birds at sunrise. I felt very safe there as a solo female traveler. The villagers are very friendly, offering me mangos all the time. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and Yolanda cares for every need you have. One day there was no water, as the tank was empty, but the neighbours helped me to get water. I suggest you bring some school material to the village for the poor kids, I did so and the help was very much appreciated. Nature is astonishing and abundant, mango trees everywhere.... I will surely go back there!

Cons: Other European tourists! I shared the house with a French girl 2 nights because she didn't have a reservation and I wanted to help out. She was disrespectful to me and to the villagers. Using my materials without asking, not cleaning her garbage, eating her own food at the restaurant, bringing men to the house late at night when I was trying to sleep.... Please be a giver, not a taker! People are so poor, surely you can spend 5 euro's on a delicious meal in the restaurant!

Pros: The property is located in the heart of pure nature with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Amazing location! Just stop 1st at the Sabor restaurant at the end of the proper road to find your host who will help you to get to the house walking in the maze of path of the village.

Pros: Фантастическое место!чистый,уютный дом.приветливые хозяева Йоханес и Иоланда.мы прилетели ночью,Йоханес встретил нас,Иоланда приготовила вкусный ужин(несмотря на позднее время).утром,мы увидели всю прелесть этого места!!!!слов нет описать всю красоту и мощь окружающей природы !!!создается впечатление,что это самый спокойный и уютный уголок земли,где все спокойны и счастливы!)завтракали и ужинали в ресторане у Йоханнеса и Иоланды.за это отдельное спасибо!ресторанчик очень приятный и колоритный.спасибо вам за теплый прием!обязательно загляните в это место,это стоит того!!!❤️

Etwas ganz Besonderes

Pros: Tolle, ursprüngliche Unterkunft mitten in der Natur! Ein großes Dankeschön an Yolanda, Johannes und Amy für ihre Gastfreundschaft und besonders an Yolanda für das unglaublich gute Essen! Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl gefühlt :)

Pros: Super schöne und tolle Lage! Gemütlich, ruhig und alles war wir gebraucht haben, war da! Sowohl Frühstück als Abendessen war sehr lecker! Danke für alles!

Wahnsinns tolles Erlebnis!

Pros: Wir haben uns so herzlich willkommen gefühlt bei Johannes und seiner Familie. Die Unterkunft ist in Mitten der Natur atemberaubend Schön. In dem anliegendem Restaurant der Familie wu rden wir bestens verpflegt und haben zu sehr guten Preisen ganz tolles Essen bekommen. Die Wanderung in der Umgebung zB bis zum kleinen Wasserfall war sehr schön. Die Natur rund herum und das Leben der Einheimischen hat uns begeistert.

Cons: Man muss halt wissen das man sich in den Bergen befindet und nicht in einem 5 Sterne All In Resort. Wenn einem das bewusst ist und man Lust auf dieses Abenteuer hat ist man hier perfekt aufgehoben. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein und nicht zimperlich bei Krabbeltieren.
