Cozy, local, safe, independent.

Pros: Very cozy, spacious, safe, local feel and well-located studio. Bars, restaurants, shops are within walking distance and the beaches aren't far either. It's less noisy and cheaper than accommodations in the busy front streets of Santa Maria. The host is super accommodating and helpful.

Cons: Locals might be a bit loud at nighttime but that's a general risk in Santa Maria. Be prepared to endure power outs and a shower which isn't always strong enough due to governmental water cuts as well during the dry season. That will be the case in all the area. I still recommend this studio highly.
