Design, Comfort, and Perfect Location!

Pros: Casa Pau is a gem in Santa Maria. The interior design is stylish and cozy, making it a very comfortable place to relax. The location is excellent—you can walk to the beach and top-rated restaurants in minutes. Eduisa is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to help us with our arrangements. Plus, the two resident cats are super cute! If you want a stylish and convenient stay in Sal, this is it.

The perfect stay in Santa Maria

Pros: We had the most pleasant stay at Casa Pau. The host and the staff were very welcoming, providing us with all the necessary to enjoy our stay. The room was simply amazing. Well cleaned, well decorated, we truly felt at home.

Pros: The host was extremely friendly and welcoming! Excellent for a short stay!

Cons: The water was barely warm, that was the only disadvantage.

The place to come back to.

Pros: It is located in a local neighborhood close to the beach and the center of the village. There’s an extraordinary calm vibe in the house which I have appreciated very much. Breakfast is served upon request and there is a common kitchen and living room…..Room is simple but bright with a balcony and comfy bed. Staff is friendly and available for requests.

Cons: There is a lack of water during several Hours but this is a problem of the island, not of the house. Maybe some gallons with water could work out for those moments.

Pros: Wonderful Accommodation with Amazing Hosts – Highly Recommended! We stayed at Casa Pau on Sal in January 2025 and felt at home from the very first moment. The accommodation is very clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished – perfect for relaxing. A real highlight is the hosts, Berta & Rui: They are incredibly helpful and always go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Whether it’s tips about the island, organizing excursions, or small personal requests – they were always there to assist. We highly recommend Casa Pau and would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cute Casa with Beachy Vibes

Pros: We had the room on the first floor with a private bathroom and patio. The room was very spacious and clean. It felt like a warm welcome, because there was some water and a snack next to the bed. The location is great. Near to the beach and a short walk to Santa Maria centre.

Cons: Nothing big that I did not like. I’m used to hot showers, but there was only cold water available. Due to the hot weather this didn’t matter at all :)

Fun vacation in a nice country with the most welcoming people!

Pros: the location didn't really have a special view but that's not always necessary and we were aware about it beforehand. We were in the middle of a local neighborhood which also has its charm! The neighborhood isn't a touristic one but it's a 5 min walk from the center. We didn't mind it. :)

Cons: Be careful with leaving your doors open at night since there are a lot of cockroaches on the streets (which is normal for warm countries)
