The best booking com ever!!!

Pros: Fatima the owner is wonderful! This is the best booking.com place I have ever stayed. Facilities are great and Fatima is an angel. So fun to stay here with other guests too. I thought it would be too far from the capital, but it is a better location. Lots of transport going by here.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: amazing place to stay. huge home and super warm welcome by Fatima the owner.... nothing was too much trouble, arranging transport, clearing up, evening making us delicious beans and desserts. We shared wine and lovely conversation. Rooms are big and bathroom spotless. Best place in cape Verde.

A warm welcome in a beautiful property

Pros: An amazing place to stay in a tiny, friendly, peaceful village, about a 10 minute drive from the Monte Gordo national park. The rooms were huge and comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was probably the best equipped I have ever seen, and we were made to feel very welcome by Tanha. If you like self catering, then this definitely one of the best places to stay. If you prefer to eat out, just be aware that there is only one tiny cafe in the village. It’s also great if you like to hike as there are a number of hikes that start near the property, or a short taxi / aluguer ride away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting São Nicolau and a big thank you to our hosts!

Lovely house in the centre of Sao Nicolau

Pros: We arrived with a hire car and found the property ok, they have a drive behind electronic gates so no problem parking. Beautiful house and garden. We had a room on the top floor with shared bathroom but no one in the other room so all ours! Fantastic views all round on the large terrace but no seating/tables to sit out and enjoy. Room windows/door had mosquito mesh on so nice and cool at night - it’s a bit cooler in the centre than on the coast anyway. Room clean and comfortable. Well-equipped, communal kitchen downstairs. The owner wasn’t around but the lady looking after the place was friendly and helpful although spoke no English. Went up Monte Gordo - fantastic walk with beautiful flowers and great views.

Cons: There are shops nearby (fresh bread rolls at Toffer a couple of mins walk) but no restaurants so you need to drive or take an aluguer - not a problem for us with hire car but would be tricky without.

Beautiful home

Pros: Absolutely beautiful home, everything you need is there, and it's exceptionally clean. Tanha welcomed us so kindly and made us feel at home right away. Perfect location for hiking, easy to get an alugur to go to other areas of Sao Nicolau to visit. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We would highly recommend and would definitely be back in the future.

Cons: We can't fault the house at all. It was perfect 👌🏼 Very limited on restaurants nearby if you dont feel like cooking

Felt just like home

Pros: I had a great stay at Fatima's place! The amenities were of great quality and spacious, you can even get a sea view from the top floor. Fatima was an amazing host who made me feel like someone from her own family. I even had the chance taste her homemade cake. I would definitely recommend!

Exellent stay!

Pros: Everything! Especially, I thank the help from the hostess and kindness of the hostess lady Fatima. She is a polished diamond with a good and warm hearth!

Pros: This is a serious gem. The lady who owns the house is a treasure who was really really kind and helpful. The price for the quality is just ridiculous, it was easy the highest standard of all the places we went to. I liked it a whole lot! Recommend it alot!

Cons: We had a hard time finding it, the adress was wrong but the map on booking was correct. Just a heads up for people who tend to mess up like myself!

Extraordinaire

Pros: Nous avons passé 4 jours chez Fatima. On se serait cru chez une parente qui nous reçoit. Sa luxueuse maison entretenue à la perfection fut d’un confort absolu. Fatima est heureuse d’accueillir ses hôtes et ne compte pas sa peine pour leur faire plaisir. Non seulement les petits déjeuners sont formidables mais en plus on vous recommande sa « kachupa ». Je ne parle pas de sa salade fruits frais…à tomber de délice. C’est une étape incontournable pour se faire plaisir. Merci Fatima pour ces bons moments passés en votre compagnie Evelyne et Frank ( Savoie )

Pros: L'exceptionnel accueil de notre hôte Fatima - l'esprit de convivialité et de franche rigolade - les chambres spacieuses et bien équipées - La vue de la terrasse - la propreté des lieux.

Cons: Tout a été parfait !
