Aparthotel Por do Sol

Comfortable spacious apartment but located some way out of town.

Pros: Spacious apartment. Excellent breakfast. Good size pool and pool area with plentiful sun loungers. 3 restaurants in 800 meters for the evening - 2 more during the day.

Cons: Pool tiles missing from bottom of pool. Apart Hotel further from other facilities than we had realised. Local beach had red flag flying for most of our stay. A long walk to alternative beach. Mini market on site not worth having

Pros: The staff was really nice. Very reactive answers by whatsapp. The appartment was spacious.

Pros: The apartment was amazing, all new, clean and comfortable. We did not use the pool but it was big and great. The staff at breakfast and reception was really nice in every interaction.

Cons: Location (around 20mins walk from market, bars, beach). You have to pay in cash some of the things, and it is complicated since they do not have change (Euros) Breakfast did not have many options (no vegetable milk, no natural juices, small portions and flies around). However, the breakfast staff was really nice and helpful, the chef was very thoughtful!

Pros: Very nice staff- running the extra mile to make our stay unforgettable.

Pros: For me nothing better than this place, clean spotless, kind staff, free park, wi-fi super.

Pros: the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent.

Cons: It was too far out of the main town area for my husband and I, as it meant having to take taxis almost everywhere. But as a last-minute booking and it was only a short visit that was not too much of a problem.

Perfect in all aspects, looking forward to going back some day!

Pros: We had an amazing week at Por do Sol! Our apartment was very big, super clean, perfectly equipped and with a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast was delicious, with variety and local products, fruit, cheese, etc. Jenny and Agustina were super helpful and friendly, always there to give tips and help us out. Jenny always made excellent suggestions for places to go and she went out of her way to arrange a daily excursion for us and we had a wonderful day around the island. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed!

Boa localização, bom pequeno almoço, staff amigável mas a situação acima foi muito negativa

Pros: A localização, o espaço da Vila e o facto de ter pequeno almoço incluído.

Cons: Necessitei de ajuda (gás não estava funcionar), fui à recepção e faltavam 5min para fechar mas já não estava lá ninguém. Liguei e enviei msg para número de ajuda e ninguém atendeu ou respondeu até ao dia seguinte

Ruhiges Aparthotel mit Frühstück

Pros: Die Anlage ist etwas außerhalb der Stadt gelegen, dafür aber ruhig. Der Strand ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Dusche hat ausreichend Druck - das ist in Sal Rei nicht selbstverständlich.

Cons: In Cabo Verde gibt es frische Papayas, aber am Frühstücksbuffet findet man sie nicht. Das war aber bei fast allen anderen Unterkünften in Cabo Verde auch so, auch in den Resorts.
