Exceptional winter vacation

Pros: The location was fantastic right on the beach and close to many bars and restaurants The apartment penthouse was fantastic and spotless loved sitting on the balcony with ocean view in a morning watching all the activities on the beach and the climb up the steps to the rooftop terrace the room configuration suited our needs perfectly as a mixed family with six adults Bakery close by for pastries in the morning The staff were all very helpful and friendly including the night guard Will definately return Also the prompt response from Daria before our visit when ever I had a question and arranging our airport transfers was exceptional Thankyou for a wonderful first visit to Sal 🙌

Cons: The fact that we only booked for 1 week and so wished we had booked a longer stay

Cons: The bed and sofa is not most comfortable

Pros: Perfect location in Santa Maria Village, spacious apartment and very clean.

Cons: Mattress a little too soft.

Brilliant place on the beach with lovely staff

Pros: The staff were very kind, we arrived so early but they managed to let us check in after a couple of hours. We also misunderstood the checkout time was 11 not 12pm and they were polite about asking us to leave. Very hospitable place that really do try their best. Location on the beach is excellent Size of the flat was excellent for three Nice touches like some juice in the fridge A lot of amenities for self catering Cleanliness of the flat was excellent Gentleman in the evening very helpful and fixed a couple of issues for us Lovely welcome from Flora and goodbye from Sara They seem to treat their staff well which we really liked, they were having a Christmas celebration in one of the flats opposite us which was sweet!

Cons: There is a 5 euro charge (per person) for beach towels which is not in keeping with the price point of the property. It was expensive, particularly over Christmas, so I would expect something like this to be included. There is no way you won't need a towel and they explicitly say there will be a fine if you use the normal towels as beach towels. They gave us these for free at the end of our stay because of our hot water issues which I thought was a kind gesture and was much appreciated. The hot water was patchy, you couldn't shower at the same time or one after each other. There was only three of us so we made it work but for a larger group it would be a problem I think. There was a nice gentleman in the evening that improved the hot water situation but the other times there was no one around to ask for help and the emergency phone number was unanswered. I think this was a one off issue to be honest and was probably resolved after we left (Christmas). The other thing to be mindful of is reception is mostly closed even though it states it's open 8-4. It could just have been because it was over Christmas but I went a few times for assistance and it was shut. Again for paying a premium over Christmas I would have expected someone to be around but ultimately it wasn't a big problem for us, we just got on with things and the staff were all so nice when we did interact with them. Just a side note that has nothing to do with the accommodation - the beauty place next door is not good for a massage.

Pros: Lovely apartment spotlessly clean. Great location. Well equipped kitchen with kettle and toaster. Staff very helpful and friendly. On beautiful beach and near all restaurants and shops.

Cons: Second bedroom was a bit small.

Enjoyable stay right at the beach

Pros: Our stay was great. Location was fantastic Staff were really helpful and friendly (especially Sara and Dania)

Cons: All good, just rhe wifi did not work in all parts of the house, but is a minor issue

Pros: Perfectly located, super comfortable, rooftop with a great view and very kind and helpful staff! 100% recomended!

Pros: Great location, right on the beach, clean and spacious apartment, well equipped. Daria the communication manager was fast in replies and willing to help us with everything we needed! If you find this place available don’t hesitate and book it straight away!

The best on the beach experience.

Pros: It was the most perfectly placed beach side apartment. Literally you walk out of the door and you’re on the beach, the sand and sea are bliss. If you go out of the street side door you’re 50 metres from the centre of town.

Cons: It’s not high end luxury. That said, although pretty basic, it’s very clean and well appointed. For the money I felt it was exceptional.

Pros: It was quite a spacious and comfortable apartment. The cooking facilties and 2 bathrooms really helped and the location was perfect. It had a rooftop that was quite nice but basic.

Cons: Only issue was the soundproofing. Noise from the street and other apartments can be heard as it was mostly wooden. The stairs were difficult to manoeuvre especially with young children as they fell down the wonky stairs multiple times. The floors were loud and creaky and the beds were not comfortable.
