Casa Chiquinha

Pros: The host was very sweet and available, the space in the garden is very natural and somehow private, and the apartment itself is clean and very nice for Praia. We had a car to move around and enjoyed the hosts dinner and breakfast, so we never used the shared kitchen space :)

Pros: Very friendly owner that took good care of us. We could even park our rental car on the premises. You can either sit outside in the garden or on the rooftop terrace. There's a washing machine in the bathroom. The apartment is modern. It's a short walk to a very beautiful beach and the village itself is nice and hardly touched by tourism.

Cons: The main bed is quite noisy, and the kids beds are 1.8m in length at most. Don't try to squeeze larger kids in there, as there is a wall on either end. Though air conditioning is technically available, it's a movable device that is incredibly noisy and doesn't really cool the place down too much. A fan would have been better, especially since it was almost impossible to get some cooler air inside at night. The kitchen is not inside the apartment but sort of outside on a terrace and shared with the owner.

Pros: Chiquinha is an absolutely lovely host! Spacious, comfortable room and very well equipped.

Cons: No wifi available but for us that was good :)

Pros: Top Appartement in a nice little town, extremely friendly and helpful owner. 10mins walk to the black sandy beach. Many thanks for all, we had a fantastic time here.

Pros: Super cosy appartement right next to a lovely little garden. Also the little village itself is really lovely, with several bars and 2 mini markets. The large, black sand beach is a 10min walk away, and you'll be there almost private :) Worth to mention also the lovely (french speaking) host, who will take care of you super friendly and helpful :) Absolute recommendation!

Fijn!

Pros: Aardige mevrouw en dochter, goede communicatie (als je er niet uitkomt met de taal, kan je met haar dochter praten die in het buitenland woont) en begrip, ruime accommodatie, een tuin met liefde onderhouden. Echt Kaapverdiaans plaatsje met 1 (goed en goedkoop) restaurant in de buurt. Fijn dat we de was in de wasmachine konden doen en dat er een droogrekje beschikbaar was.

Cons: Voor 4 personen een prima prijs maar voor 2 personen toch aardig aan de prijs. Er kan een extra plank worden geïnstalleerd om bijv het koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker op te zetten wanneer je het gebruikt. Fijn dat er koffie en thee was. Haakjes in de badkamer zou fijn zijn om handdoeken/kleren etc op te hangen. Het licht in de woonkamer in de vorm van ingebouwde spotjes is erg fel (of juist te donker met alleen een blauw ingebouwd licht) en ongezellig dus als er een stalamp o.i.d. kan worden neergezet, creëert het een warmere sfeer. Overall toch erg positief over alles hoor!

LANDLEBEN

Pros: Gut eingerichtetes Apartment. Schöner Garten & freundliche & bemühte Gastgeberin.

Sehr nice, geiler Strand

Pros: Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, in einem kleinen Dorf, das interessante kulturelle Einblicke bietet, allerdings muss man die Transportation beachten: Ohne Auto muss man sich über Anreise/Abreise-Möglichkeiten informieren. Das Haus ist sehr nett und nicht weit von einem sehr coolen Strand!

Cons: Fehlende WIFI ist ja ein Problem für die Reisende ohne mobiles Internet. Allerdings konnte man in dem Bar zu einem WIFI Spot verbinden, war ja auch Internet Detox ahah

Traumstrand und authentisches Leben im Dorf.

Pros: Wenn sie in ein authentisches Dorfleben eintauchen möchten, sind sie hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und der Garten mit Palmen und Papayas wunderbar. Chiquinha wohnt im Nebenhaus und ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin . Es gibt viel privacy und einen wunderbaren Strand, den Silver Beach. Das Baden im Meer bei hohen Wellen ein Erlebnis und das ohne großen Tourismus. Das Restaurant hat uns wunderbar bekocht.

Un séjour merveilleux !

Pros: Tout était parfait. L’accueil a été plus que chaleureux. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Les repas étaient délicieux. Chiquinha et son fils ont été très accueillants, sympathiques et attachants. La proximité avec la plage de sable noir et les piscines naturelles a été appréciable. Nous recommandons à 100000% Mille fois merci pour ce séjour merveilleux !
