Damfjord Boutique Hotel

Pros: Staff were lovley always smiling and happy to help ! The bed was comfy and big, air con worked great, bathroom spacious with powerful shower, location great walking distance to beach and shops. The corridoors have lovley art work and I like that there's an area downstairs to select a book to read. The rooftop was lovley to star gaze at night.

Cons: My room was quite dark with just a small forsted window in the corner of the room you couldn't see out of and i think it was facing a wall. I love a room that gets natural light and atleast some sort of view but I guess it just made me get up and out of my room to see the sky !

Perfect spot for a few days in sal

Pros: Really welcoming family hotel. Rooms so clean- my balcony was good for watching street life. Location is near to everything & has the usual centre of town comings & goings.

Pros: The overall experience at Damfjord was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything you need — including air conditioning and space to hang clothes. Breakfast was excellent, the hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the location was perfect — close to both the main street and the beach.

Pros: The stuff team re fantastic. very clean in all aspects, room is big and mine had an double seat sofa. relatively quiet night time. breakfast decent and delicious cold and hot food good everything basic you need I’m gluten and lactose and I didn’t have any issues about food. shower Pression good but isn’t super hot but warm enough not much consistency on same temperature however all island is like this. Very well centred near to everything you need. Small swimming pool that I would call a big jacuzzi on terrace I didn’t had opportunity to go. They gave extra blanket with no problems. Restaurant price vary from £8 to let’s say £20-25 the expensive meal with a glass of wine. Food in restaurants resuming it’s super cheap. Most of my meal fresh fish, salad , rice was £15 including a glass of wine. Beach was bit windy but you can get a good tan even being winter you feel well the sun much better than be at canaries island

Cons: Negative is ( the refrigerator in my room snoring Lauder than my husband it’s like a fanny jacuzzi babbles noise. But not issues as I got my ear plug and I slept super well. I would definitely stay again was the best room I stayed in Sal on my opnion in terms of comfort room .

Amazing experience at the Damfjord hotel, familiar, local and very central

Pros: The staff were welcoming, the breakfast was very good, and the location was ideal, we will definetely recommend this hotel if you are looking for something more familiar and local, central with activity around and with lovely people.

Cons: The light of the room was a bit dark, we stayed for 7 days and even they changed us rooms on the second day and did as much as they could the light in the room was very low.

Pros: The staff were excellent and dealt with an issue with my booking seamlessly. The breakfast is very very good. The hotel decor is pleasant and kept perfectly clean by the staff.

Friendly and well located little hotel in Santa Maria

Pros: I really enjoyed the owners' and staff friendliness. They were welcoming and caring, attending to our needs and The location is great, in the centre of Santa Maria, next to several restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets, but also near the Municipal Market and the Tourism Information.

Cons: The beds weren't very comfortable and the rooms and installations are simple, but clean. The fridge was a bit too noisy. But, in overall, it is a good compromise, considering the great location and nice staff.
