Vista Mar - Seafront Holiday Apartments

Pros: We loved our stay at Vista Mar. The location was perfect and the outlook to the beach from the balcony area was really nice. Definitely will be coming back!

Pros: The location is incredible, the apartment is basically on the beach :) The apartament has everything you need and is cleaned daily. There is a bar with drinks, food and music below, but it doesn't disturb your rest at all. The hosts organised a transfer for us to and from the airport. They were very helpful.

Cons: Unfortunately, there is no shade on the terrace, and it can only be used early in the morning or at night. During our stay, we ran out of water. We know that this happens on Sal, but the owners should mention that such situations can occur, and I think that providing a large bottle of water (e.g. 5 litres) in the bathroom just in case would be a very good option.

Perfect for independent travellers who like to explore towns and island.

Pros: Central location for town and beach. Welcoming friendly and professional host.

Cons: Perhaps some shade on balcony. Be aware others use balcony as thoroughfare to their apartments. Not an issue for us!

Great little beach apartment

Pros: The property was right on the beach and close to amenities

Pros: Location and views amazing, well equipped kitchen area and lovely terrace.

Cons: The bed was so uncomfortable, even with quilts over the mattress.

Good location central to Santa Maria and value for money

Pros: Ideally located with a superb view of the beach and sea. Lovely to have a sundowner on the balcony in the evening. Lovely kind lady, Francesca, who cleaned the apartment every two days. There were only two dislikes - the cooking smells from the extractor fans next door that blew onto the terrace when the restaurants were busy - and the noise around 6am each morning when the trash was being collected/crushed by motors.

Beautiful apartment with great views

Pros: Amazing location and Zuela the host was fantastic. Francisca the cleaning lady was very nice and came every 2 days. There was also WiFi at the property and it reached the beach as well. Thank you so much Zuela!

Cons: The TV wasn’t working.

Pros: Great view, comfortable, friendly, cousy, clean and easy going.

Cons: Was quite noisy most of the night - local festival took place during our stay in the neigbourhood (end of February) But we want to come back come other time.
