Large apartment, good value for money.

Pros: Large modern apartment with great balcony overlooking the garden and pool. 10 minute walk to the best beach on Sal - directions to get to the beach - walk past the supermarket, cross the cobblestone road, walk straight through the car park, through the break in the low white wall. We walked through the Tortuga Beach Resort reception, past the pools and straight to the beach. Great coffee at the Tortuga beach bar £1.50. Always ask to pay in Escudos, paying in Euros is usually 10% more. Saw baby turtles while snorkelling.

Pros: Spacious apartment, very well equipped with everything needed in the kitchen. Good communication with the host. Highly recommended!

Cons: The distance from Santa Maria is about a 25-minute walk.

Pros: A spacious apartment with a beautiful, large terrace. Everything you need for cooking is available, including a spacious kitchen with a comfortable living area.

Pros: Gorgeous apartment in a lovely complex. Hosts were helpful and responsive. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking (though a larger cooking pot would be beneficial). The space itself is beautifully decorated and a comfortable base to explore from. Very spacious apartment.

Cons: The bed was comfortable but the matress on the bed was two singles so kept coming apart which was a bit annoying. The door in the bedroom did not close properly which we didn't realise until the second night so I got badly bitten by mosquitos, but this was my fault for not checking it earlier.

Pros: I loved my stay in this property; it was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location is good, and Santa Maria is a 20-25 minute walk away. This was fine in the daytime but meant I had to rely on taxis in the evening. There should be a card for the Vila Verde shuttle service, but the owner was waiting for a replacement so I did have a couple of occasions where I couldn't use the Vila Verde transport. However, I actually enjoyed the walks into Santa Maria, it allowed me to see more of the local area. I didn't have any issues while I was there but the host was very helpful in the run-up to my stay and whilst I was there, too. I would recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

amazing apartment in a lovely location

Pros: The apartment was spotless and stylish, equipped with everything you need for a getaway. The complex was delightful, featuring a pool and a pool bar, along with a supermarket and a sports bar. I would definitely recommend it! It's a 25-minute stroll to Santa Maria and just a 10-minute walk to the beach if you find the shortcut. 😁 There's also a free shuttle bus to Santa Maria from the reception, but it's a small mini bus, so be sure to arrive early if you want to catch it!

Cons: only down side to us was the bed was very hard, but that's a personal choice.

Pros: Pleasant stay, the apartment is beautiful, comfortable and well located. The person in charge of the apartment is very friendly and attentive. I would certainly stay here again.

Pros: Für uns war die Wohnung perfekt. Sie liegt in einem angenehmen Komplex mit Zugang zum Swimmingpool und einem Supermarkt auf dem Gelände. Das Shuttle in die Stadt und zum Strand ist ein tolles Zusatzangebot. Die Kommunikation war einfach, die Wohnung war stilvoll eingerichtet und für uns war es sehr angenehm individuell wohnen zu können.

Cons: Am ehesten noch die kleine Entfernung zum Strand- aber fußläufig und per Shuttle zu erreichen
