A great place with perfect views and a friendly owner

Pros: The accommodation is in a great location, you get to see and hear real Cape Verde and people getting on with their daily lives. The property and especially top apartments have lovely views of the mountains, beach and (on a clear day) Fogo with its volcano. We stayed in the 2-bed apartment which was comfortable and had all basics that we needed. The kitchen had a full cooker with a stove and oven, fridge with a freezer compartment and a microwave plus all basic utensils. The apartment was spotless. The owner (Delfim) was very helpful, responded quickly during the booking process and our stay.

Lovely feeling place to stay

Pros: Delphim was a really great host - friendly, available if we needed him, had good tips on places to visit, and he speaks good English too. The apartment building is beautiful - lots of plants and a lovely terrace and view. It’s pretty basic inside but that was perfect for us. Short walk into town and to the beach. Delphim let us check out late and leave our bags.

Cons: A bit of water always leaked in the bathroom. Single bed wasn’t comfortable for me (but thats been common in Cape Verde for me generally). The noisy cockerels who started crowing at 3am and then don't stop all night. But I guess you’d hear them everywhere!

Pros: The owner was very responsive and helpful. The room was clean and the location was perfect. The view from the balcony was just amazing. Nothing more and nothing less than expected.

Pros: I particularly loved the Terrasse, as it is a wonderful place to be, relax and enjoy the great view. The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and Delfim is a very friendly and helpful host.

Greatest apartment in Tarrafal with sweetest host!

Pros: Greatest appartement we had on Santiago. Simple but good facilities in the apartments, and the balcony is just WOW - greatest view and sunset!! Also Delfim is a very sweet and charming (English speaking!) host, who is always available to help. Definitely recommend! City centre with shops and restaurants and beach only 3min walk away. :)

Cons: Just one thing: our mattress was quite old and should be replaced soon ;-) (meaning : clean, but pretty worn out in the middle)

Pros: Delfims place is the best place in ponta gato.You have a beautiful view at the ocean,at night you can see a lot of stars from the terrace. Its amazingly green(because of all the plants inside the house)and delfim is very helpful,friendly and funny. A place to feel like home and also great neighbourhood.

Pros: The location is perfect with a very nice view from the top terrace, the host is amazing and super friendly. A good budget place to stay in Tarrafal.

Cons: Can get a bit noisy at night, but that is kinda to be expected.

Best stay in Cabo Verde

Pros: Tucked away yet very close to the incredibly beautiful beach, you feel like you're part of the very warm and welcoming community. Delphim, the owner, is a legend: a good man with a good heart. He always shows a lot of care, yet offers you a total privacy. I had a tear before leaving, that's how much I loved this place. Obrigada amigo, até próxima vez! ✌🏾 ♥

Great sunset view and a lovely stay!

Pros: The location was very good, with easy access to both the city center and the beach. Delfim, the host, was excellent, providing helpful tips and engaging in enjoyable conversations. The apartment was cosy and well equipped.

Cons: It's important to keep the lights off at night to avoid attracting unwanted guests (bugs). While it wasn't a major issue, it could be a bit bothersome. Additionally, it would have been helpful to know in advance that payment is accepted only in cash. Just a friendly tip for future guests.

Pros: I liked the atmosphere and the energy of this place a lot. The owner is an amazing person and you can feel his good vibes in the whole building. I can totally recommend it.
