Wonderful place in Maio

Pros: The place is wonderful, clean, quiet, indipendent. The kitchen is very useful.. The decoration, the garden and big terrasse on the rooftop. The mosquitos net, the bidet and many other small thnings. Perfect for a short or long stay on this small island.

Cons: I regret that I can't put 10 points, but there are two things which should be solved. First the mattress, very soft and uncomfortable. And luck of internet. I understand that this could be a local problem because of local provider. But after making a reservation the owner should inform the clients about this problem immediately and let them cacel the reservation. It would be fair.

Pros: I loved the house, it was very well decorated and made you feel at home. It was cleaned every day. The best hotel in May. The only negative point that really bothered me was the internet problems.

Pros: The apartment has everything you need to make your a comfortable stay . The Apartment is in a quiet area, but closed to the beach and village and safe. NUNO is a very friendly house manager. He takes good care off the guests and is all time available for anything. Also he organised for us pick up from the ferry and a very interesting tour over the all Island. Everyday you get your apartment well cleaned from the super nice and lovely LEIA and could feel the Capverdian MORABEZA. Sad we stayed only 4 days.

Recommanded on the Ilha do Maio

Pros: Sweet welcome from Nuno! He helped out with everything, went on a tour of the island, showed us local restaurants, made sure we were more than fine! It was a nice appartment, with A/C in the room, fridge etc in the kitchen and everything you needed in the bathroom! It was very clean everywhere! Also the common parts were very clean!

Cons: Very poor wifi, showerholder could be a little bit better, as it was not possible to shower this way. The double bed was not that comfy (matress and noise).

Pros: A calm oasis on a calm island. Great location and super friendly hosts. Came here to find peace & quiet and got it. The apartments have everything you need and made my stay so much more comfortable than expected. I needed to finish reading a book, and here I finally got the chance to do so!

Boa escolla

Pros: Zona tranquila nas aforas da Vila do Maio. Donos moi amables e boa comunicación.

Cons: O colchón era brando e facía barullo. O ruído de fóra cada vez que outro hóspede abría a auga do seu apartamento.

Pros: Nanda & Pompeo were very nice and very helpful. And very funny. Thanks a lot.

Pros: Strong wifi (my husband used whatsapp calls for work everyday during our 1 week stay without any problem!), excellent air condition, coffee maker, hot water, really clean and beautifully decorated rooms and a blooming garden. All these things in Africa, just wow! 👍 Not to mention free upgrade to 2 bedroom apartment, free transport from the pier and to the airport and a late check-out... We are traveling 2-3 months a year with a child (3 years old right now) and my husband needs to work a couple of hours every day while on the road. This place met all our specific needs, thank you Nanda and Pompeo!

Pros: Very comfortable apartment with everything you need to spend a great time on Maio island! Ultra-friendly Italian host Pompeo. Recommended for all travellers!

Cons: Nothing - everything was TOP AND PERFECT.

Pros: The location is pretty central in Vila de Maio, Pompeo e Nanda welcomed us and made us feel at home. The apartment we stayed in was comfortable and close to the beach and the main street. There is a beautiful garden and a terrace where it is possible to have barbecue

Cons: Internet was a bit unstable for the rest nothing to complain.
