Great atmosphere

Pros: The location, the food, the hosts are very knowledgeable and they can support with everything.

Cons: The only downside is that the top bunk is quite high and lacks safety rails, so I didn't feel comfortable letting my child sleep there

Lovely place and wonderful people

Pros: We loved our stay at Casa Alcindo and are more than happy to have spent 4 nights there. Fogo and Cha are special, and Alcindo goes out of his way to make it a perfect experience. He helped plan our stay and organize everything. Everyone was very friendly. Rooms are basic but clean and nice. The yard is beautiful. We had dinner there 3 nights and ate really well. Mostly took our breakfast as lunch for hikes, which got us well through the day. Hope to be back one day :)

Great place to stay and explore Fogo

Pros: The location, food and hosting was excellent. The communication was great, even before we arrived. We had a brilliant time and would recommend.

Cons: Everything was wonderful.

Nice room, view to vulcano, friendly host

Pros: The room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable mattress. Friendly host Alcindo who gave us information about the island and about hiking to the top of Fogo vulcano. You can see the vulcano from the window of your room.

Cons: Breakfast was ok, really basic, staff do not speak english.

Pros: Amazing stay. Alcindo and Leticia did everything that they could to make our stay memorable. We are thankful for their generosity, time and general love of the good things in life. We thoroughly recommend doing the hike with a guide !

Cons: Nada

Pros: Exceptional experience to sleep in such a location among such kind people. The staff and owner were nothing but kind and welcoming. They helped us connect with the guide to climb the little volcano, who was a great guide. A special thanks to the kitchen as the dinner was very good.

Pros: Fantastic stay, we loved it! All the staff were brilliant, Laetitia is the most welcoming and helpful host and Alcindo a fantastic guide. They helped make our stay very special. The location and space they have created is beautiful.

Pros: Amazing place at the bottom of the volcano, the views are spectular. Garden is so pretty and well maintained. The owner took really good care of us and I could see all guests were well taken care of. She arranged our guide, picnics for the hike and was super responsive and nice.

Pros: Everything :nice people, good food, wonderful place!!

Cons: Wifi can be weak
