Cabo Verde 🇨🇻

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at Pensão Domingas. The owner, Domingas, is exceptionally hospitable — very attentive, kind, and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is excellent and varied, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. The location is perfect, situated in a quiet and peaceful area, ideal for resting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. I felt like home.

Really comfortable stay

Pros: The owner of this place is really nice and helps you out a lot. She provided me with all the information I needed, whenever I asked (one of my many) questions. It will help if you speak a bit of Portuguese when you are visiting, but that applies to the whole of Cabo Verde. I would recommend this place if you want to have a nice bed in a comfortable place.

Pros: The guesthouse is simple but good: beds are comfortable, room is large and breakfast well prepared. The highlight is the owner, Dominga, who helped us in several ways during our trip. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for something simple

Great value for the price

Pros: It was a great expérience staying in the pension. Dimingas and her family are very friendly and welcoming and you get a family feel (which was a nice change after staying in an hotel the week before). Zuka is a great guide if you want to visit the island and climb on the volcan, and he speaks perfect French, English and Spanish. The family was very flexible about the check out time, and also arranged a taxi everytime I needed one. The location is very close to the city center and great restaurants, as well as shops.

Cons: For the price, there is not much you can complain about !

Pros: Domingas is an amazing host that helped with many things. The room is really comfortable. Breakfast is good. Wifi is fast. Close to restaurants, bars and walking distance to tourist sites.

Mme Domingas m’a fait aimer ce si joli village de Sao Filipe

Pros: La chambre numéro 1 est la meilleure, salle de bain privée et elle donne directement sur la rue, on ne rentre pas par le couloir, propre et aérée, très agréable. L’emplacement tout près de tout, merci Mme Domingas, pour vos bons petits déjeuners et votre amabilité, j’ai beaucoup apprécié votre accueil.

Cons: Mme Domingas est une personnalité et un caractère en elle même, avec un cœur d’or…. Patience pour aller chercher ce coeur d’or…

2 nuits reposantes après une bonne douche et dans une literie confortable suivies d'un bon petit déj

Pros: Logement confortable avec une bonne literie, des sols et murs carrelés très propres, un petit déjeuner compris et copieux, un accès facile avec le jeu de clés, une situation géographique idéale à 3 Kms du port, 1,5 kms de l'aéroport et 0,5 kms du centre et du bord de mer. Eau bien chaude à la douche. Logement sans bruit la nuit. La pension est bien connue des guides pour son rapport qualité-prix. Mme Domingas se lève même tôt le matin pour fermer la porte d'entrée à clé derrière vous quand vous lui rendez les clés.

Cons: La salle d'eaux -WC est un peu exiguë et il y a une porte vitrée qui donne sur le logement de Mme Domingas (qui peut donc rentrer dans le WC ou fermer la lumière quand vous y êtes).
