Lovely place to stay with lovely people

Pros: So lovely people! Feeling really like a part of the family! Joining them with lovely dinner! The pool was lovely to cool down. Nice place to relax after my hikes in the national parc! Really enjoyed and will hugely recommend this place!

Pros: The bed was comfy, the shower has good pressure and was hot and cold. The was spacious as well. We booked this place for the pool as we'd only been staying at places without, the pool was great. There were a couple of times in use but didn't really see anyone. We tried looking for a local restaurant but nothing was open, then they said they could feed us, we had lunch here and the portion was a really good size. The breakfast was great as well, fruit, bread, yoghurt, best we'd had in Cape Verde so far. Also when we landed the taxi at the airport were saying we had to pay 2000cve which seemed too high but the family offered to pick us up. We were very grateful as it was late at night and we were tired. There is a very small shop up the road that sells water but not much else. When I booked I didn't realise how far away we were from anything, which we liked. This is more of a village.

Cosy place for families

Pros: The Residencia Aguia provides actually 5 rooms for guests, 3 of them with bathroom ensuite, 2 share a bathroom outside. 4 of the rooms are aire conditioned. The biggest room (really big with a living area) has no air condition but a small refrigerator and a fan. The pool is for all guests together, also a dining area with a kitchen that the guests can use. In this area also the good breakfast is served. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We felt always welcome.

Cons: The pool area could have some lounge furniture.

Great place

Pros: Super friendly hosts that are very flexible and informative. The place is clean and we were able to do our clothes washing for free. Nice pool with lots of seating outside but would be even better if had some sun loungers. Great breakfast . Fridge in the bedroom and use of owners kitchen area.

Cons: Could not pay by card, as cash only

PERFECT !!!!! And No Stress ! Don’t choose an other place. This is the place to be!

Pros: Everything was perfect!!! No hesitations to have if you want to come here. We just want to thank you, Carlos and Djamila. ❤️ With no doubt, the best hosts in the whole world, so helpful and accommodating. People with a big heart, we considerate you like our family now!!! Hard to say goodbye! Take care ! Hope we will see each other again.

Highly recommend

Pros: The owners are so friendly, the house has a very chill vibe and a beautiful swimming pool, great breakfast! The house is not in the city center but thats actually quite nice since its very peaceful and the owner offers you to ride you to beautiful places. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic welcome and great stay

Pros: Djamila and Carlos gave us a very warm welcome…we felt like we were at home. They were always available for information or service. Carlos can give you advice for your visits or be your guide. He can even rent you a car (ask ideally in advance). We also had the chance to eat the succulent «Cachupa» prepared by Djamila. Thank you so much for everything and we will come back! 😉

Will return again - wonderful experience in a nice quiet area away from the city.

Pros: Always kept clean inside, very comfortable beds room set up had everything necessary, felt right at home, Carlos and Djamila were very kind and always helpful.
