Really nice place to stay and competent staff

Pros: Nice and competent staff who also helped us to bring the luggage in the room. Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast - unfortunately not before 8:30

Cons: It was promised that the breakfast is at 8, but we get it at 8:30.

Amazing hiking adventure + pool to cool down

Pros: Amazing location at the foot of the mountains -- breathtaking views of the ridge from the outdoor pool area, super nice and friendly staff and overall great value for money.

Cons: the rooms are not super soundproof -- so we could hear our neighbours a bit more than we would've liked.

Great relax location in nature

Pros: Very relaxed place with a nice swimming pool to cool off. Its located in a nice little village in between the green hills of the mountains. The food is great and staff is kind. Also a great place for small children ;)

Pros: This location exceeded expectations! The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the hotel was tranquil and clean with gorgeous views. The people of the town are incredibly friendly and if you visit, be sure to ask for directions to the museum which was an AMAZINGLY informative and interesting interactive experience!

Goed verblijf om van daaruit de omgeving te verkennen!

Pros: Mooie locatie, dorp op loopafstand. Vanuit het hotel kun jemooie wandelingen maken naar Rui Vaz of Pico de Antonia. Ook kun je goed eten in het restaurant. Aardig personeel!

Gut, aber kein Englisch gesprochen wird

Pros: Die Lage ist top und das Pool ist ein Vorteil bei der Hitze in den Bergen.

Cons: Die Mitarbeiter sprechen kein Englisch, und es fehlt ihnen an Erklärungskraft. Die Bezahlung ist komisch: Am Ende haben wir 20 Euro mehr bezahlt, was nicht auf Booking stand. Die Sprachbarriere von Personal dient hier als Hilfsmittel, um Geld zu kriegen, da man nicht wirklich in dem Urlaub streiten möchte.

Für Wanderer ein muß

Pros: Tolle Lage in kleinen Dorf (Ortschaft), sehr viele interessante Wandermöglichkeiten, sehr nettes Personal (spricht kein Englisch, ist aber dank Google kein Hindernis, kann dabei viel gelacht werden). Swimmingpool war sauber und konnte benutzt werden (wurde immerwieder von Personal oberflächlich von Ungeziefer und Blätter gereinigt). Zimmer schlicht aber mit Klimaanlage, bequemes Bett. Frühstück mehr als ausreichend, Abendessen sehr günstig und sehr lecker. Kalte Getränke können auch günstig erworben werden. Kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft in der Nähe. Nachts Security

Cons: Keine Kreditkarten Zahlung möglich, scheint aber ein regionales Problem zu sein, da auch im Geschäft und in anderen Hotels abseits größeren Ortschaften das Problem besteht (kommt nach Eingabe eine Fehlermeldung)
