Hotel Morabeza

Excellent location, beautiful gardens, friendly staff.

Pros: The location on the beach front and close to Santa Maria

Cons: The fridge in our room didn’t work well. The gym machines were old.

Very beautiful hotel with direct access to the beach.

Pros: I really liked the location of the hotel, directly next to the beach and inside the city center. The room was also very beautiful. Breakfast buffet was okay with both local and European dishes.

Cons: The breakfast could be better and also the staff could be more friendly.

It was a nice oasis in a somewhat lac lustre country.

Pros: The staff at the front desk were very nice, friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing.

Great location

Pros: The location, the facilities, the beach club. There were 3 pools and the balcony had a sea view. It was 2 minutes from the beach and their beach club had fantastic mojitos, and excellent food.

Cons: The breakfast wasn’t as good a I would’ve expected from the hotel of that standard, although the omelettes made to order were very good. We left towels on our sunbeds next to the pool, which were picked up by the staff at the end of the day when taking in the cushions. The staff then refused to give us a towel the next day and said we would have to pay €30 per towel as we’d been made to sign a form at check in agreeing to this (true!!). Fortunately the reception manager was able to wave the fee on this occasion after some discussion when we checked out - and was friendly about it - but the whole experience was unpleasant and not what we’d expect from a hotel like this. It was a shame they do this to guests, because everything else about the hotel was great.

Fabulous hotel right on beautiful beach

Pros: Very nice hotel with lot of content. Staff arranged for our early check in and we got a free upgrade to Junior suite which was a bonus to fantastic experience!

Can’t wait to revisit

Pros: Third visit to the hotel the location is perfect, feels very Italian. Very quiet and peaceful, clean, Beautiful, just perfect if your looking for a quiet chilled holiday with a white sandy beach

Nice restaurant, a bit overpriced

Pros: - great location directly at the beach and close to all the restaurants in town - nice room with comfy beds - luggage storage and possibility to use a courtesy room to take a shower after Check-out. Really appreciated,as we had a late at night flight home. - nice garden arrangement with 3 pools - lot's of sports/leisure options

Cons: - we weren't informed at check-in that there's a welcome meeting incl. welcome drink each day - B&B guests have to pay for for sun loungers at the beach - environmentally friendly shower gels would be nice - breakfast was ok, but not amazing. - if you lose the towel you have to pay 30€, which is an absurd price for a towel

Delightful once again

Pros: Second time staying in sea facing spacious 2 bedroom Duplex with 2 teenage boys. We like everything about this hotel and will be back! Central/immaculate/spacious/classy/a real sense of calm just moments from the main drag and opposite the beach and Bar Brasil which does the best cocktails/what's not to like!
