Casa do Encanto

Pros: It was a beautiful, spacious and well-equipped apartment. Impeccably clean and amazing value for money. I found it affordable as a single person but there are 3 rooms so it could comfortably be shared by more people. The host was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. My flight was delayed and she picked me up from the airport so I didn't have to walk there in the dark. I speak very limited Portuguese but we managed to communicate with help from Google translate!

Cons: There were no downsides that are within the host's control. The WiFi sometimes was not working but this might have been due to the very strong winds. Location-wise, it is close to the airport but quite far from the city centre where the restaurants and bars are, so you would need to get a taxi or bus into town.

Lovely family-stay

Pros: Lovely home-stay with a wonderful family, who runs this place with a lot of love! Excellent service, nice chats, delicious home-made food, large, cozy and clean rooms, unforgettable views and they make you become part of the family! Totally recommended!

Pros: The appartement is very clean and nice. I had the best ever sleep away from home.

Modern Apartment Near the Airport

Pros: We needed accommodation for one night near the airport because Cabo Verde Airline had split our flights overnight. We arrived in the dark and were able to walk along the road (in hindsight maybe not the best idea security wise as we heard). We communicated via Whats-App to get the keys. The apartment had everything we needed. Modern and comfortable with two fans and a lot of space. It would have been possible to use the kitchen as well with basic cutlery etc.

Cons: The host organised a transfer to the airport in the morning for us which was very nice but also quite expensive given that it is a 4 min drive.

Very convenient to the airport

Pros: Good Wi-Fi and excellent kitchen with washing machine. 15 minute walk from the airport

Cons: Was difficult to find as it is in one of several apartment blocks that look the same. Asked at the local shop and they called her which worked out well as she was waiting in the apartment

Pros: Excellent location for transit at Praia airport as only 15 minutes walk away. Good facilities for self catering. Friendly in person check in.

Cons: Very handy for airport but not for Praia sightseeing

Pros: perfect connection to the airport (less than 20 Min by feet) perfect furnished and quiet the only weakness was that we only spent one night there! thank you!

I enjoyed the stay here

Pros: This location is incredibly convenient, being so close to the airport, which minimizes travel time. I appreciated the simplicity of the design, which was both creative and aesthetically pleasing. The space was spotless, which added to its welcoming atmosphere. The fact that the place is fully furnished, with utensils and cleaning equipment provided, made it feel like a true home away from home. The host was responsive and kind, always willing to help with any requests. You can trust her to be both honest and reliable, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Cons: the area doesn't offer many social amenities nearby, it's important to plan ahead and gather all your supplies in town before settling in

Pratique pour une nuit à côté de l’aéroport

Pros: Le logement est vraiment proche de l’aéroport. C’est spacieux. Propre.

Cons: Le quartier n’est pas agréable ce sont des tours mais pratique pour une nuit. Pour rejoindre le logement qui est à 3 min en voiture le taxi demande 10€ minimum.. donc autant aller dans le centre ! De nuit c’est dangereux d’y accéder à pied mais le lendemain nous avons pu nous rendre à l’aéroport à pied en traversant la grande route et en passant par les « champs ».

Sehr guter Kurzaufenthalt vor dem Abflug

Pros: Wir waren nur ein paar Stunden in der Ferienwohnung- da ist kaum eine Bewertung möglich, es war aber alles sehr sauber. Was zählt ist die Nähe zum Flughafen (15 min zu Fuß). Mit der Buslinie 20 ist man schnell in Praia.
