Paradise on earth :)
Pros: This place it’s paradise on earth. The house is really cozy and beautifully decorated. You can see beautiful green vegetation from every window and everything in this place transmits calm and invites to relaxation. The pool area is very nice to rest after a day of exploring the island and the common areas of the house are beautiful and welcoming. The house is located in Pombas, a great spot for hikings and to visit the Paul valley, in this small town there are plenty of small supermarkets and restaurants, so it’s a great base in the island. Breakfast is great, with delicious salt and sweet options, including typical pastries from the island. But the best of this accommodation is the people who runs it: Sevilla, the owner of the house is lovely, she was really friendly and she even helped us in Sao Vicente with our luggage and even drove us to the airport. Thanks so much for everything, we will be back for sure!

Pros: The most beautifully designed and well-executed space we saw on the island. The owner is very nice, responsive, and helpful. There was a map with all recommended restaurants and a simple hiking map in our room. Breakfast was tasty, with a nice variety of food (milk and cereal, yoghurt, fruit, cake, fresh bread with cheese and jam, and eggs). The kitchen has everything you might need, along with drinkable water. The atmosphere is like a little oasis, in the beautiful oasis that Santo Antão is itself.

Great stay in Paul
Pros: Very beautiful house, great and quiet location, just a few meters from the centeŕ. The swimming pool is definitely the highlight, perfect way to end the day after our hikes. Breakfast was great as well, very filling!
Cons: Our mattress and pillows were a bit uncomfortable, and the toilet was a bit stuffy and humid. Maybe we were just unlucky with the room!

Great stay at Kasa Wahnon with modern comforts
Pros: We had a wonderful time at Kasa Wahnon. The room decor is modern and stylish. It includes a freshly prepared breakfast. The pool is a great bonus to relax after hikes around the island. It's also close to the town center, making it easy to access restaurants, supermarkets, banks...

Pros: Kasa Wahnon is perfect, very close to the city center and yet in the middle of the nature. The staff is super friendly, welcoming and available at all times. I highly recommend Kasa Wahnon to anyone staying in Paul.

A real paradise in Santo Antao —100% recommended.
Pros: EVERYTHING. I’ve been using Booking for +12 years and I can surely say this was the best stay ever. From the hospitality of the local hosts (Sevilha & Noa) to the kindness of its staff (Gilda & co.), the interior and outer parts of the villa, location, neighborhood, breakfast… We can’t thank enough Casa Wahnon for being the place we proudly called “home” during our week in Santo Antao. The perfect spot from which we explored the entire island. 100% recommended, and already looking forward to be back! Always, OBRIGADA.

Pros: This place is such a gem! Great location, lovely renovated, unbelievably helpful staff. We would have stayed longer if we didnt already book our next accomodation. On top of that, they organised a birthday breakfast for my husband, including a cake and helped us out with everything you can imagine. Increadably thoughtful (down to earplugs next to out bed in case there would be noise during the night - which there was not). Cannot recommend it more!

Great place to stay to discover Paul valley
Pros: Friendly welcome, swift communication by text with the owner. Very clean, beautiful views. Very new building, everything is brand new and well done. Also, don’t confuse this place with the guesthouse with the same name (a bit further up the road).
Cons: The bed was a bit on the small side (1m40), but this also depends on what you’re used to.
