Pros: Had a lovely stay at Pousada Quinta Ribeirinha - rooms are very clean, big and comfortable. The locationl is great with some restaurants just a few minutes walk. The host is very friendly and helpful and cooked a nice breakfast for us. Highly recommended!

The place to be for a relaxing stay

Pros: We loved our stay at Pousada Quinta da Riberinha, Fatima and her staff are absolutely lovely, the breakfast is very complete with everything you need. Our son enjoyed spending time in the pool.

Cons: The only thing is the location, I thought Cidade Velha was a bit more animated, but it is a village with only few restaurants and a tiny supermarket. I will not recommend it for families with young children. I am writing it in the review, because I wished I would have read it before booking.

Very good place to relax and enjoy nature

Pros: The location is good. It is 5’ walking from Cidade Velha and it is in the middle of the forest surrounded by nature

Pros: Very charming place tucked in a corner of the green valley of cidade velha directly in front of beautiful vegetation. Very short distance of about 5 min to walk to Rua Banana and Pelourinho. Great staff who went out of their way to make tea and offer paracetamol for my father who was a bit sick. Pool with deckchairs was awesome if you stay for some hours more just to relax and take in the atmosphere of the green surroundings.
