Great stay with Taco and Antonia

Pros: GHE is a great accomodation and Taco and Antonia are incredible hosts. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the breakfast was rich. Taco even offered to pick us up from the port! It is very easy to get to the center and, during the carnival, probably better stay than in the center as it was quite at night.

Cons: The breakfast was great and served to all at once, which is great as you get to chat with other guests. However, we are quite early people so would prefer to have it earlier than at 9:30... I guess that is how it is in Cape Verde - no stress.

Pros: Very nice hospitality and helpful Support by Taco ( dutch based) and his wife. Very good breakfast and in case of early morning flights individual breakfast arrangements can be provided. Pick Up Service at the ferry Port.

Cons: (Location of Guest House .Public bus schedule is not transparent and not regular. Taxi transfer is much more reliable and costs effective. )

Pros: It's a remarkable place to settle into Mindelo after arrival. Taco is a very helpful host, you can just about ask anything and he will try to fix it. His wife Antonia is a wonderful cook. The breakfast is stunning and includes local fresh food and dishes. Everything is spotless clean. The guesthouse has got a roof top terrace, which one can enjoy if the wind is calming down. Lovely!

Cons: Location is not in the center. However the bus number 1 connects to the center in less than 10 minutes and taxis cost 2 euros so all is good

Outstanding guest house

Pros: Everything was outstanding! Taco helped me so much and gave me great insights into life in Cabo Verde. The breakfast was great and all in all value for money was great. I hope to stay there again.

Cons: The guest house is a bit outside the city center but it’s still in walking distance, there’s a bus stop around the corner and taxis only cost 1,54€ to get there.

Pros: Taco et Antonia étaient adorables. Toujours prêt à nous aider, et à prendre le temps. Nous avons pu passer une excellent séjour grâce à eux. Les petits déjeuner était excellent. Conseil : manger le midi les bons petits plats de Antonia, c'est délicieux et pas cher !

Un très bon souvenir et une grande aide apportée par Taco et sa femme

Pros: Taco est très accueillant, compréhensif et d'une grande aide. La chambre avec douche est très bien. Antonia, la femme de Taco, est très consciencieuse et fournit un petit dejeuner très complet. La guesthouse dispose aussi d'un petit restaurant.

Cons: La localisation est un peu loin mais l'accès au bus n° 1 à 2 rues est très pratique puisqu'il dessert le centre ville, le front de mer et la plage. Très peu cher et très régulier.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit herzliche Gastgeber

Pros: Tolle herzliche Gastgeber, die Zimmer komfortabel und gemütlich. Alles war sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Dachterrasse war auch top. Die Stadt mit Taxi binnen ein paar Minuten gut erreichbar - Kosten nur 2€! Dank der Beratung durch Taco haben wir auch Sao Antao besucht, die Insel ist in nur 1 Stunde mit der Fähre erreichbar. Die Tickets online buchbar. Wir bedanken uns für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Cons: Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig…das hat unsere Nachtruhe beeinträchtigt.
