Cool, down-to-earth place with the nicest host.

Pros: This accommodation surpassed our expectations. The room was decent, shower was good, breakfast was also okay. The host lady is the best! She helped us with EVERYTHING! She has very good recommendations for any plan, helped us organise island trip, called the restaurants for us to book a table—she really went the extra mile to help us. Thank you! :)

Pros: The hotel is well located, just 500 meters from the town center. The host is extremely kind and helpful and even assisted us with our car rental. The breakfast is exceptionally good compared to other hotels in Cape Verde. The rooms are perfectly fine, and the value for money is excellent.

Pros: 10/10 – Absolutely Perfect Stay at Casa Bom Dia! Our stay at Casa Bom Dia was unforgettable thanks to Cristina’s warm hospitality and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome, showing us around and sharing amazing local tips that truly made our visit special. The room was beautiful, spotless, and comfortable, with a lovely view that we enjoyed every morning. The entire staff was friendly and kind – it felt like staying with family. Every recommendation Cristina gave us was spot-on, from restaurants to hidden gems in Mindelo. And we can’t forget Bronk – the best dog tour guide ever! His charm added an extra touch of magic to our stay. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Cristina and the whole Casa Bom Dia team – we’ll be back!

Perfect haven for enjoying Mindelo

Pros: Christoph and his manager Christina have created a peaceful haven in Mindelo to relax and enjoy all Sao Vincente has to offer. Close to the town centre but away from busy areas. Breakfasts are plentiful and there is a wide choice of food. Shared fridge and sun terrace. Very good value. Perfect for sundown playing Ouril on the terrace!
