Beautiful guest house in the heart of Mindelo

Pros: Staff spoke excellent English and very helpful, location excellent and had a shady courtyard

Cons: Beautiful dark wood colonial style in the bedroom, very cool but for those of us of a certain age a bit too dark

Nice stay at old colonial house

Pros: Casa Colonial is located in the center of Mindelo, but provides for an oasis of peace and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and rooms are clean!

Cons: The size of the bathroom is a bit small and tends to overflow when taking a shower.

Really good place for a short stay.

Pros: Really friendly staff, clean, easy to get to. Staff helped me with an emergency I had. I was very grateful.

Cons: No window. The door act as a window.

Very close to centre situated in wonderful colonial building!

Pros: I liked the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast was very nice!

Cons: My room was on the ground floor and early in the morning breakfast was served in the patio in front of my room. So not only did I experience noise for the preparation of breakfast in the kitchen but also the noise of guests who were having an early breakfast. Also my room was too dark particularly the bathroom that was painted in dark brown whilst the water was not going down the drainage meaning the floor in the bathroom was covered in water and as such also very slippery.

Would highly recommend, clean, reasonable and a sociable hotel.

Oasis in Mindelo centre

Pros: Our 4th hotel in Cabo Verde but the first with complementary bottle of water in the room, which we really liked. Spatious, clean, quiet... good breakfast and right in city centre.

Cute hotel with friendly staff, great location and a pool

Pros: Excellent location. Beautiful decor, old wooden style, very cosy. Helpful and friendly staff. Let us check in early. Nice to have a pool in a place so central. Good breakfast, multiple options. Comfortable bed and good cotton sheets. Encourage water ecology in handily explained signs. Excellent location for exploring Mindelo. Held on to our luggage after we checked out. Fast internet, good signal in the room.

Cons: The pool is quite overlooked by the rooms, and quite small. It looked quite clean but we ended up not using it in the end.
