Pedra de Rala

Pros: Big & clean room on the ground floor with privat bathroom, teapot, fridge, two plates, cups and glasses. Very creatively arranged. In 10 min walk you are at the ferry, in less than 5 min on the beach and center of the town.

Pros: Convenient location near the ferry port. Very nice double room with a dining area and elegant bathroom. Excellent value for money. Incredibly friendly hosts.

For one night or two it’s the perfect solution. Great value for money

Pros: Great room, beautiful house and nice host. All clean and nicely decorated.

Cons: It would be nice to have a door to the bathroom to not hear everything. Also, the beds were quite squeaky.

Small Apartment next to the ferry terminal

Pros: - Perfectly for a night if you want to take the ferry the next morning - walking distance to the city beach and the ferry - Wifi was good and stable

Cons: Water pressure of the shower head is very low No working AC, only a fan

Pros: Excellent value for money. Homely spacious room on the ground floor with a small table and a couple of chairs, fridge, kettle and fan. Good wifi connection and a very chilled, friendly host. Also a couple of chairs outside the front door and a 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal.

Great host and a highly recommended place

Pros: Great location and located only a short walk from the ferry from and to Sao Vicente. Pedra de Rala is a very clean place with a Great vibe. I loved that there was a fridge and table to sit on and that there were other utilities like a water cooker ,utensils and glases and plates. As a bonus Got a tour of the town by my host Hélio He also found a place for me to stay as Pedra de Rala was fully booked for the next days. Muito Obrigado Hélio You’re a great guy

Pros: My second stay. Love the house. Very comfortable and authentic. This time with concert included. The host Arlindo with his band Cordas do Sol were playing on the main street at a local event. Spectacular and fully recommended!

Great stay in a beautiful private house

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay in this accommodation. It is a simple but beautiful, clean and comfortable room in a beautiful private house. The hosts are very friendly and happy to help.

Cons: Be careful the water boiler doesn’t stop once it’s boiling. So it keeps on boiling and you could burn your hand as the handle gets very hot. The water pressure could be improved.
