Great welcome and pick up from the airport.

Pros: Very good host, facilities and cleanliness excellent. Breakfast was prepared by the host and it was very good, he was attentive and provided a service beyond our expectations.

Cons: Quite a steep walk up the hill but only a €2 cab ride from town.

A great find allowing us to make the most of our short stay in Sao Vicente

Pros: We had about 24 hours in Mindelo and Antonio helped us to optimise this time seeing the sights and experiencing local culture. He met us at the ferry from Santo Antao, so saving us from walking to his place, gave us a quick orientation tour and then we agreed to take a tour to see the island with him; great to see the sights of Sao Vicente with local insight. He also showed us a great place to see some local music and provided our airport transfer in the morning. The breakfast was good and the room was perfectly comfortable, roomy and clean. The location is a short walk from the centre and perfectly safe in daytime at least. Antonio was a great host and it certainly added to our experience to spend the time with a friendly and knowledgeable local.

Cons: We were not unhappy with anything.

Fabulous

Pros: Fabulous place to stay in Mindelo. Safe neighborhood and close to the center (10 min walk). The actual property is a room with ensuite bathroom inside a bigger apartment where also family lives on the premises. The kitchen and living room are shared. The room is big, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included in the price. Also for a modest extra charge it's possible to eat dinner/late lunch with the family. This is highly recommended as the most of Mindelo restaurants are closed during daytime and the restaurant food is mostly mediocre anyway. The homemade dinners are freshly prepared and tasty, excellent value for money. The owner Antonio is very helpful and a great source of local advise and knowledge. Many thanks to the owner for helping me with many practical tasks while in Mindelo, it would take me a lot more time and effort to figure it out by myself. Would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are in Mindelo, look no further.

Exceptionnel, je recommande, plus qu’un logement, c’est une expérience de partage et de convivialité avec Antonio.

Pros: Pour mon séjour à Mindelo, je disposais de très peu de temps. Antonio est venu me récupérer directement au port, ce qui a été très appréciable et m’a tout de suite mise en confiance. Séjourner chez Antonio a été une vraie chance. L’appartement est chaleureux et convivial : on s’y sent immédiatement comme à la maison. Le matin, j’ai pu profiter d’un petit-déjeuner complet et délicieux. Dès mon arrivée, je voulais faire un tour de l’île. Antonio m’a proposé m’a accompagné avec des d’explications historiques passionnantes sur chacun des lieux visités. C’était une expérience enrichissante qui m’a permis de découvrir Mindelo et ses environs en profondeur malgré mon court séjour. Le soir, nous sommes allés assister ensemble à un spectacle de musique traditionnelle cap-verdienne, un moment authentique et inoubliable qui a parfaitement conclu cette belle journée. Je recommande cette expérience les yeux fermés !

Pros: Antonio est quelqu'un de très disponible et attentionné Il fait tout pour que le séjour se passe bien Son appartement semble loin du centre mais pas du tout, il suffit de quelques minutes de marche et on est à Praça Nova

Séjour Mindelo à renouveler

Pros: Hébergement proche du centre ville. On voit très bien Monte Cara depuis l'hébergement. Chambre avec SDB. Un hôte attentionné. L'emplacement est vraiment bien et sécurisé. On a pu voir les vainqueurs du carnaval passer sous le balcon. La plage du centre ville, Laginha, est très proche.

Topp Unterkunft wo man sich sehr wohl fühlt!

Pros: Tolle Atmosphäre, grosses Zimmer, sehr bequemes Bett, modernes Badezimmer. Antonio ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Sehr gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück! Man trifft tolle Leute, super Lage mit Sicht über Mindelo und Sonnenuntergang. Restaurants, Strand und Altstadt zu Fuss zu erreichen! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Pros: J’ai passé un séjour absolument formidable chez Antonio à Mindelo. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été touchée par son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse sincère. Antonio fait tout pour que l’on se sente bien, à l’aise, et comme à la maison. Au-delà de l’hébergement, Antonio est un guide exceptionnel. S’il vous propose une excursion, allez-y sans hésiter : cela en vaut vraiment la peine. Il connaît Mindelo et São Vicente parfaitement, mais surtout, il partage sa ville avec passion, générosité et authenticité. Découvrir Mindelo avec les yeux d’Antonio, c’est magique. On ne voit pas seulement des lieux, on comprend une culture, une histoire, une âme. Un immense merci pour cette expérience humaine rare. Je recommande à 100 %.
