Excellent value in Mindelo

Pros: I can still hear Tomasio, the owner, in my ears, scolding his naughty but adorable cat, Óscar, who made my day there... So even if the place is not a five-star hotel, it deserves a high rating, mainly because of them.

Cons: First night was hotter than I prefered, but this is CV, and I got used to it. And there is no elevator, but that was not a problem for me. All in all, I enjoyed my staying there!

Safe, easy, comfortable, amazing location in Mindelo

Pros: The location is perfect, safe and next to restaurants, shops, public transport, ferry port and Laginha, the most beautiful beach in Mindelo. The owner was willing to help, was quite flexible and gave me accurate and useful turistical and local information about the neighbourhood, the whole city, the Carnival and visits to Santo Antão island. The room and the whole appartment is even better than on the pictures. I strongly recommend for your stay in Mindelo. The room is huge, with a comfortable double bed, more than enough storing place, towels, coffee, tea, kettle and kitchen access. The owner speaks fluent Italian, Portuguese and creole and even taught me some creole language basics.

Pros: Excellent accueil du propriétaire qui habite les lieux mais que nous n'avons vu qu'à notre arrivée. Bon emplacement tout près de la plage et à 15mn à pied du ferry. Bon restaurant local à proximité.

Cons: Pas d'eau chaude à la douche.
