Exceptionally friendly owner

Pros: I stayed in Cubico Tota one week and it was really positive experience. I had everything I needed and the owner was exceptionally friendly and caring about all your needs. He was answering all the questions with a smile and commitment.

Cons: What I didn’t like at the beginning in Praia was that it’s quite busy and noisy city. So if you are choosing the location in the centre you can hear the noise from outside.

Cons: Location a little remote from Plateau, but can walk up there somehow.

Pros: The pick-up from the airport in the middle of the night (with flight delay) went perfectly well! The apartment setting is simple, still comfy and super clean. A/c in the dorm also, lockers, great wifi, kitchen to share, good location to get around by foot! Big Thanks to the brilliant host Carlos!

Pros: Nice room with basic equipment, comfy bed and cooling fan. Big terrace, kitchen and social room with some gym equipment to tone your muscles. Bathroom is okayish. Your friendly host Carlos will arrange with ease anything you need. Very recommended hostel for good price and great location.

They try really hard to accommodate and be helpful.

Pros: The location was excellent. The room was large with a terrace. The apartment is big. They helped me get a SIM card. They try very hard to conserve resources like water, electricity, which I appreciate.

Cons: Despite the info on the website (including pictures) it was hard to find the hostel. I didn't know there was no hot water in the shower so we boiled water. Was it mentioned on the website? *** After spending more time in Cape Verde I realized that's typical of a budget accommodation. Kitchen - more dishes?

If you want a cheap and friendly place to stay, look no further

Pros: The host Carlos was awesome. He helped with so much while I was there. He even cooked dinner and shared it.

Lovely and basic apartment

Pros: First: amazing host <3 One of the nicest people on Earth. An apartment has big living room, huge bathroom (although there is some waiting time), balcony and comfy basic rooms. It's about 10 min walking to Sucupira Market and Plato.

Cons: You can hear traffic, but it didn't really bother me.

Pros: The price, won't find anything cheaper in Praia.

Cons: Got sick from the air conditioning turned on at night. Watch out for that.

Pros: Living like a local in the heart of Praia. Carlos is the most beautiful and warm hearted soul you can wish for, helping out with everything you need. I recommend you hire him as a guide too, to discover the city of Praia, I had such a wonderful time and lots of fun. I also felt very safe here, as a solo female traveller. Grateful for everything!

Pros: Nice good secure welcoming place, I liked my stay, very peaceful, small shops around, perfect location to pick up buses to make daily trips near by villages, helpful and always smiling personals

Cons: paying with credit card would have been better :)))
