Hotel Cruz Grande-Brava

An exceptional stay on a beautiful island.

Pros: I was collected at the port, brought to the hotel, and given a warm welcome. Breakfast was great, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel owner invited me, as a solo traveller, to join him and his wife, her sister and brother-in-law, and a family friend on a day out that included a walk to Faja d'Agua and lunch with them. I was very touched by such a kind gesture it made for an exceptional stay on Brava island. I appreciated this so much.

Pros: We had such a great stay! The staff were super kind, helpful and welcoming, we’ll really miss them! The hotel was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, even The food there was great! Would definitely come back again!

Pros: Loved the welcome, the information provided to us concerning walking to Faja d'Agua and that we could eat lunch there. Also appreciated the tour arranged for us by Madalena and conducted by David.. Madalena and all her staff are excellent. We felt like VIPs!

Confortable, propre et calme établissement avec très bon petit restaurant, à proximité du petit centre de Vila Nova Sint

Pros: Établissement propre, calme et très bien situé (près du petit centre de Vila Nova Sintra). Belles promenades possibles au départ de Villa Nova Sintra. Très bon petit déjeuner et excellent dîner au petit restaurant de l’hôtel. Extrême gentillesse et serviabilité de tout le personnel et particulièrement de mon hôte. Très bonne literie dans une chambre propre, au deuxième et dernier étage, avec une grande terrasse extérieure. Le plaisir de boire une bonne bière locale et fraîche à la terrasse couverte du petit restaurant de l’hôtel après une journée de promenade.

Cons: Rien.

Une île merveilleuse qui vaut vraiment le détour dans cet hôtel très bien placé

Sehr schön. Ausreichend Platz. Freundliche Menschen.

Pros: Schönes Hotel gebaut direkt am Eingang zum Ort „Nova Sintra“. Es ist wie jedes kapverdisches Haus etwas hellhörig. Die Zimmer sind recht groß und geräumig. Eine Wäschestange ersetzt den Schrank. Brava ist häufig im Nebel und daher recht feucht. Ein Schrank vermutlich nicht sinnvoll. Aus Zimmer 8 hat man Meerblick. Die Matratzen hoch und ausreichend fest, es gibt warmes Wasser, die Menschen sind freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut.

Cons: Bisschen wenig Wasserdruck. Es wird fast kein Englisch gesprochen. Wobei Portugiesisch, Französisch und Spanisch sowie natürlich Kreolisch gesprochen wird. Am Ende sehr amüsant und lustig zu kommunizieren. Daher nicht wirklich -+

Pros: Hotel très bien situé dans le village de nova sintra qui est très pittoresque. Chambre propre. Repas et petit déjeuner délicieux. Accueil chaleureux de Joan qui parle français.

Gut gelegene Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal und exzellenter Küche.

Pros: Zentrale Lage und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen auf Brava. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Mercado) in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Schöne Dachterrasse. Super leckeres Essen gilt für Frühstück und Nachtessen. Eigentümer sind hilfsbereit und direkt vor Ort.

Pros: Hands down the best place to stay on Brava!!!! The room, food, cost and hospitality was above all my expectations!!! I will be returning and when I do I will only stay at this amazing hotel!

Pros: lit confortable, tv câble, petit déjeuner et restauration de qualité. hôtel propre et calme (chambres sur terrasses) propriétaires très agréables. transfert assuré depuis et vers le port.

Cons: un paiement par cb aurait été apprécié mais c etait indiqué dans la politique de l établissement.
