Colourful stay in the fishing village

Pros: Good location as we didn't want to stay in the city. Simple and cosy. Bus station, shop and restaurant were near. Very helpful owner. We could see local people every day life, which was so different.

Pros: Nice clean place with lovely staff. Very good to have proper bedside lights for reading .

Cons: Room just a bit dark.

Airport stopover

Pros: The apartment was great for a 1 night airport stopover

Very good and amazing staff

Pros: Tia is the best housekeeper… she helped up from the moment we arrived until we left. Also Malinca was very helpful, always reachable by message if needed. The room was nice and clean.

A relaxing stay in a traditional fishing village.

Pros: Clean, secure, pleasant decor, quiet area, jolly friendly staff. The lovely owners and their family live on site.

Cons: Nothing.

Comfortable and walking distance to the port of Palmeira.

Pros: Breakfast was not available but there is a pastelaria just down the street,

Cons: The taxi driver could not find the place initially but it turned out that he and the welcoming young lady who let me in were cousins so all ended happily.

Highly recommendable, like being at home

Pros: Lovely, quiet rooms, very nicely decorated and comfortable. There was complimentary water and a kettle with tea bags. The bathroom was comfortable, with hot shower. There was a ceiling fan, no air conditioning, but I understood some rooms have it and I didn’t need it at the time. The location is good, close to the airport and in the centre of Palmira, walking distance from the harbour. The price is very good.

Cons: The communication was the host was not easy, I had to message several times before having the information I needed. Anyway at the end I had an answer.

Excellent stay on the fish village!

Pros: La Vela is a wonderful, nice and comfortable place to stay and relax. It’s quiet also. Bathroom was big enough, beautiful and very well functioning. Milanka was very helpful and friendly. She spoke excellent english. We highly recommend!

Pros: Perfect location and extremely warm welcome. We loved the north side of the island much more than the south (much less 'resort tourism' and more real) and the stay at La Vela was perfect.

Pros: Everything. I had a problem seeing the video and photos that I needed in order to access the key box. I was able to phone the owner and get it sorted. I had a wonderful time.

Cons: Nothing. Just getting in took a bit of time.
