Pros: The apartment is big and clean, and has a great location right next to the beach. The hosts are kind and accomodating. We travel to Mindelo a lot for work and this is one of the nicest and most comfortable apartments we have stayed in.

Clean and spacious

Pros: Apartment is in a good location, beach and the city right next to it! clean, spacious and easy communication with the apartment owner/organisation.

Cons: - I don’t expect any extras in the rental apartment but here was a bare minimum. It would be useful to have at least one small soap bar in the whole apartment to wash hands at the arrival. - WiFi works only in living room - Tv in the bedroom is almost like an accessory as it doesn’t work (no tv cable)

Home away from home

Pros: I loved this place and loved my host! Kelly was the best host EVER!! This apartment is so big, perfectly located across the road from Laginha Beach, so comfortable. Absolutely loved it! I definitely wanna come back!

Cons: I think there should be some basic amenities for such a long stay — there was no soap in the bathrooms, no salt, no dishwashing soap, and only two toilet paper rolls. If you plan on cooking, like I did, you need to buy things you’ll never have a chance to use completely — salt/spices, oil, etc. Not a big deal but could definitely improve!
