Pros: Ivan was kind and helpful, the location is very good, it is a spacious and comfortable place.

Cons: The wifi signal was quite weak, Ivan was trying to fix it but it was during Carnival season, complicated days to get the company to do their part. We placed a phone right by the router and used it as hotspot to get a slightly better signal from the rooms. There are no views but it's so close to everything that we didn't really care about that. The patio was very convenient for hanging up clothes to dry, as we packed very light. Prepare for strong wind and a nice sunny weather. There can be occasional blackouts. We had 3 in 10 days.

Feeling at home far away from home

Pros: Great apartment for an affordable price. It's close to a really nice rooftop restaurant to see the sunset (6 minutes by walk). It's 10 minutes walk to the city center. We liked our stay there in Mindelo, we were feeling at home.

Pros: 11/10 for the host. As others have mentioned Ivan is incredibly welcoming and friendly and happy to chat and give suggestions for your stay. Comfortable apartment with good wifi signal, hot shower, terrace (no view) and walking distance to the ferry port/ placa Estrela. Very fair price for what is offered.

Cons: I could not get the terrace door to lock.

A great stay in Mindelo

Pros: Ivan has been a very nice host. He really makes you feel welcom. Also gave all the information I needed and good tips. Recommanded restaurants and where go to see the best sunset. Ivan showed me also around the city and we went to the top of the biggist mountains. So I was very pleased.

Nice stay in Mindelo

Pros: The hosts were super friendly and gave me a few tips of places to visit, see, eat... The house was close to the centre.

Cons: Sometimes there was a bit of noise.

Restful and fun escape from the European cold winter.

Pros: Ivan is a wonderful host. He gave us lots of valuable information on what to do and where to go. The apartment is nice, has all the equipments we needed. It is a bit of a walk from the centre, but doable.

Cons: The weather :) Bruma seca came in early and strong this December. Nothing that can be done about that. It was still warm enough.

Pros: The apartment is very nice and spacious, perfect for a couple or a family of four. The kitchen is well equipped and the owner is really kind and helpful.
