New Rooftop Gem with stunning Oceanview

Perfect location, Unbelievable host, all the essentials for a relaxing few days.

Pros: Denilson is a great host, very accommodating and polite. Perfectly location, close to everything but far enough to be relaxed. Great view of the sea, 25metres from the beach. The terrace is a perfect sun trap. Rooms were just what was needed!

Cons: Would be preferred if the terrace wasn’t shared however wasn’t a major problem. Shower basin will overfill and flood the bathroom if on full power which we made the mistake of doing. You access the rooms through denilson’s home, at first was a surprise however denilson is a great guy so once again wasn’t an issue.

Fantastic.

Pros: Annya is the perfect host – incredibly helpful and always ready to assist whenever needed. She went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation itself was absolutely perfect: clean, well-equipped, and with a breathtaking view. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Great views, good location, excellent for family booking two rooms

Pros: Annya was a great host. Very friendly, good suggestions and always available. We booked the two rooms, so we had the rooftop all four ourselves. The sea view is great! Walking distance to all restaurants and bars and beach (5 - 10 mins).

Cons: We didn’t realize the rooms were on the rooftop of an actual apartment, where Annya leaves. She was out the entire week, so no issue. But be aware you’ll be entering through someone else’s house. Also, the water heater sometimes didn’t work and when it did, the water pressure is low (not a big issue, considering the average temperature in Cabo Verde, and it’s a small islands with no natural water streams…). We booked the two rooms, but in case you’re booking only one and the other one is occupied, the privacy is very reduced and the rooftop is for sharing. Finally, the beach in front of the apartment has a lot of rocks, so not the ideal location if you’re looking to have a great beach right in front of you. A good beach is located 10mins away, though.

Good accommodation with a couple caveats

Pros: Great location (bit out of the center, which means is more quiet, but still walking distance). Recent renovation with a modern look. Nice open shared terrace. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Cons: Couple things that are not immediately obvious but I feel guests should know in advance: - Terrace is shared (as of this review this is stated is in the host´s personal description, not on the accommodation´s) - Bathrooms don´t have a door ! Guess it´s not the end of the world but probably not what you want if it´s your first trip together. - Terrace furniture is different from the pictures (and as you may guess a bit of a downgrade) We stayed for a week and no cleaning was offered for \

Amazing host and modern clean apartment

Pros: Robert is a truly wonderful host! He made us feel welcome right away and offered to show us around Santa Maria. He helped us every day with any question we had. The apartment is really neat and modern, everything you need. Would definitely come again.

The best 360 experience

Pros: Robert made our experience unique! He gave us all the best tips of the island because he knows it really well and he made a personal tour with us! He was adorable and made everything easy for us, from the kite surf lessons to the scuba diving and the restaurants! One day we went fishing in his boat! The apartment is very comfortable and the terrace is amazing, the location is perfect because everything is near and walking distance! Getting to visit Sal with Robert it is a must, is an experience you can not have in any other apartment or hotel. We are coming back for sure
