Hotel Belvedere Mindelo

Pros: Because of being in the hills you have the best view

Cons: Its so high up in the hills that you need taxi going up and down. Pool was cold and the sun cant reach it because its under a roof.

Nice choice!

Pros: Location of the hotel is really nice - it is located above the Mindelo and offers stunning view of the town. It is better to have car / taxi to get to the hotel.

Cons: Breakfast could be more varied.

BEAUTIFUL SUNSET VIEWS ON THE TOP OF A HILL

Pros: I stayed twice at Pombas Resort. It is quite a big location on the top of a hill, overlooking the ocean and a part of the town. The view is very pittoresque. And the rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Everyday the cleaning ladies were cleaning all the rooms and did a good job! Some rooms are really large, others are smaller. Wifi connection is excellent. Beautiful sunsets. Nice balconies. Free water in the fridge. And for sale: Beer and snacks at the reception. All the receptionists are very friendly and helpfull. I could stall my trolley when I left by boat to the beautiful island of Santa Antao.

Cons: Breakfast was sometimes good, but also lots of times there was almost nothing to eat anymore. They change the breakfast times really very often, without any notice. There were days the breakfast was available untill 10.30. Or untill 9.30 or 8.30 or 10.00. Only once they put a note under my door to let me know the next morning the breakfast was untill 10.00. Also one morning the guard locked the breakfast room! Although I arrived before closing time. Very bad service! The location is off track. It is 30 minutes walking into town centre. Mostly there was no soap in the bathrooms. THE SWIMMING POOL AREA WAS CLOSED IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2024

Cons: A little out of the way so a taxi is needed, the restaurant was only open for breakfast

Fantastisch hotel

Pros: Super gastvrij personeel, van koffers tillen tot verlaat ontbijt verzorgen. Uitzicht van het hotel is geweldig en zwembad is mooi. Hotelkamer was mooi en comfortabel.

Cons: Douche had beetje lekkage, maar wel warm en comfortabel.

Pros: Räume und Ausstattung entsprechen gehobenen europäischen Standard. Gute Sicht über Stadt und Bucht von Mindelo.

Cons: Anfahrt sehr steil und auf schlechter Straße. Neue Zufahrt auf der Rückseite wird z.Z. ausgebaut. Lärm der Stadt und von Baustellen

Pros: La colazione comprende anche alcuni prodotti tipici. Lo staff è stato sempre molto accogliente e hanno sempre risposto subito quando abbiamo avuto bisogno. La posizione è in alto e offre una bella visuale della città di Mindelo nonostante sia un po' distante dal centro; la sera per rientrare usavamo i taxi, molto frequenti in città e facili da reperire per tornare.

Cons: Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con l'acqua calda e il bagno si è allagato una notte, ma è stato tutto subito sistemato dallo staff

Casi nos vamos, pero al final fue nuestra mejor estancia en Cabo Verde

Pros: La chica de la recepción y el desayuno de las mañanas era super super simpática. Te llamaban a taxis cuando querías (2,50€ el trayecto al centro). Muy buena atención. Instalaciones guays. Poca gente. Desayuno suuuper variado hasta te hacían los huevos al gusto y al momento y se alargaban más allá de la hora.

Cons: Estaba un poco lejos del centro y no se puede ir caminando. La carretera para llegar está un poco destrozada así que cuando llegas piensas: ¿qué hago aquí? Nosotras casi nos cambiamos de hotel cuando llegamos, pero la verdad que merece 100% la pena bajar y subir con taxi porque es muy fácil y están muy atentos a todo y el hotel lo merece.

Pros: Appartement met alles erop en eraan Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de berg

Cons: De ligging is op een berg, er is daar verder weinig kwa faciliteiten ( winkel , restaurant / bar) je kunt overdag naar het centrum van mindelo lopen ongeveer 20 min. In de avond met een taxi terug, (niet veilig in de straatjes en erg donker plus een deel van het wegdek is niet geasfalteerd, veel kuilen etc.)
