Hotel Château Georgette

Nice hotel in Paul valley

Pros: The hotel is very nice, food is good and its clean. Terrace after hiking is a plus. Shared dorm is big and bed is very comfortable. Its a bit far from Paul but you have aluguers passing by in front of the hotel quite often, or 45 min very beautiful walking. Breakfast is very nice (tasty bread, pancakes, fruit, milk, coffee etc)

Cons: Its not a social hostel, atmosphere is mostly old couples, and you will share room mostly with workers from the hotel. Its a bit pricey for a shared room

Special hotel in good location

Pros: Huge luxurious room, great English speaking staff, wonderful location by the river

Cons: The bathroom/toilet could be cleaner (the flush button was very sticky)

Pros: A very beautiful and well-maintained hotel with lovely furnishings. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back.

Magnificent!

Pros: I loved the wonderful staff and owners. I loved the central location.

Chateau Georgette - we did not find the chateau ....

Pros: It is located in the Paul Valley and here probably the best hotel. It is spacious and clean.

Cons: Breakfast is simple. To get hot water for tea is not easy. Staff does not really understand english and a little nederlands. They call it chateau but it isn't.

We were completely satisfied and would definitely come back again.

Pros: The property is absolutely beautiful and decorated with love. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel’s location is perfect for hiking and exploring the area.

Best hotel I have ever stayed.

Pros: Probably the best hotel I ever stayed in like 50 countries. Was treated like one of the family and was completely looked after. The host went above and beyond, the food was amazing, the pool is amazing. They have several maps prepared for hikes in the area and the hotel is well known among local taxis and collectives.

Cons: N/a.

Pros: We really enjoyed the hike offered by the staff, the breakfast, the kitchen, the pool and the bathtub.

Cons: It might have been a bit of a language barrier, but on the first hike we were told we got a taxi driver that spoke English to talk about the area. But he didn't speak a word of English. We were also told that we could find some food along the hike. This was not the case. I am diabetic and was lucky I had enough sugar with me, otherwise it could have been dangerous.

Recent Stay

Pros: Beautiful hotel, great breakfast and good staff. It's in a lovely part of the Paul Valley and a great area for hikes.

Cons: To be clearer with the cost of late check-out if someone asks for it so there is no confusion on the guests part.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great food !

Pros: Building and its decoration are outstanding and completely unexpected in the area. Food was really amazing and home’ made. Georgette was so welcoming and always trying to help. Great location with many hiking trails starts available either walking distance or with a taxi This place is really a gem !

Cons: Product shortages as you are on an island but it is the same everywhere…
