Great would go again. Outside shower was surprising nice. Not much to see in the area but great base

Pros: Breakfast was good. A quiet , charming place. No swimming in the sea but great views. Good for a couple of days. The hotel helped us book driver etc.

Cons: We had the best room, others looked small and didn’t seem to have a view .

Pros: Everything was simply perfect—from the staff and the room to the pool area and the amazing dinners, freshly prepared every evening. This place is a truly unique and beautiful gem ❤️ You can genuinely feel the love and passion that went into creating it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Santo Antão.

Awesome place in a beautiful spot of Santo Antao

Pros: It is a beautifully designed property which exposes you to the surrounding ocean in the best possible way, at the same time offering tranquillity and peace inside.

Cons: Everything. It was all carefully conceived, feeling very natural and comfortable

Wunderschönes Hotel

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, the view of the sea is fantastic, the staff are very friendly, and the food is excellent.

Cons: The rooms are beautifully furnished and designed but don’t offer much storage space. With three people and their luggage, you have to get a bit creative.

Absolutely perfect stay

Pros: My stay was absolutely perfect. The property is stunning, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort. The views are breathtaking—waking up to the sound of the waves was truly priceless. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure I was enjoying my time. Dinners were delicious, and I loved the open kitchen concept where you can watch the chef prepare the meals. Yes, the hotel is a bit far from the ferry and town, but the scenic drive and the beautiful hikes nearby more than make up for it. For a 4-day stay, it was fantastic—I really couldn’t have asked for more!

A picture-perfect stay!

Pros: Super stylish and comfortable guesthouse in a very quiet area of the island. We had the perfect room for our little family of 3. Our 1 year old daughter could even sleep in her own room (attached to ours). This will soon be an apartment or studio. We had dinner here every night and were never disappointed! A special note. The staff is really really helpful! And besides that we met lovely people , done nice hikes right out of the doorstep of the guesthouse.

Pros: The house is very charming and private, with only six rooms, offering all the necessary services for a truly relaxing stay. The ocean view is absolutely spectacular! In just a few minutes, you can reach the village of Cruzinha and the beautiful coastal hiking trail. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the in-house dinner, the outdoor whirlpool and the massage services. Thank you for an excellent and unforgettable stay!

A special and beautiful place to stay in Santo Antão

Pros: The isolated location is simply the best for relaxing but also to complete one of the most outstanding hiking of the island. The decor was beautifully thought and the space was comfortable. We had all 3 dinners at the hotel and the food was very good too.

Cons: Only the fact it is too windy, it may depend of the time of the year, but the fact it is all open space, specially during the night when temperatures drop the wind can be quite uncomfortable specially during dinner as all communal areas are an open space.

Pros: Beautifully designed, stylish, great space & outlook. Manager & staff were fantastic. Amazing chef! Great access to north coast hike.
