Pousada Green Place

Pros: Great view, nice room, warm water from the shower, ok breakfast with lot of options.

Cons: Very slow kitchen.

Lovely room, nice stay let down by poor staff attitude.

Pros: Great place, room was excellent with lovely views.

Cons: Staff are particularly miserable and unfriendly, it is a shame as it reduces the enjoyment of staying at the Green Place. Food is average and cold showers.

Pros: Wonderful place, exceptional view. Totally relaxing!

Cons: Slightly more comfort would be nice.

Could be great with some comfy chairs

Pros: Good selection of home cooked food which was available throughout the day at a good price. Room was clean and practical

Cons: Lacked anywhere comfortable to sit. The 4 sun loungers looked good but were uncomfortable and there were insufficient for the number of rooms. Apart from the loungers there were only hard plastic dining room chairs. There was also no seating in the room or on the balcony.

Pros: Great location and views, nice little splash pool, room was very large and comfy. Food was very good too.

Beautiful location and well-equipped guesthouse, but not 100% to recommend for solo travellers

Pros: Great location in the midst of greenery and mountains, good local food options, nice terrace that invites for spending calm evenings after long hikes

Cons: Solo travellers seem to get forgotten - all (?) other rooms had already tables assigned and prepared for breakfast and dinner, I mostly had to let them know that I’m also there - only then a table would be prepared for me (outside as inside - where all others were - was no space anymore). Felt a bit like being a 2nd class guest.

Beautiful place with amazing views

Pros: Extremely friendly staff that was always available to help in anything I needed. The location was not the easiest to get to with public transport but the views from there were incredible. Breakfast was amazing!! Fully recommend it.

Cons: The bedroom was a bit warm and there were only windows on one side which made it hard for the air to circulate. Still a very nice room to stay in.

Pros: The swimming pool with the beautiful view. Good room, clean and confortable.

Great and very calm and quiet place in Santo Antao

Pros: It is in a small village in the mountain and with papaia... plants, great to feel Santo Antao as real!

Cons: Everythimg was fine!
