Basic Hotel

A lovely reasonable priced apartment in Mindelo

Pros: A lovely roomy apartment. A very nice breakfast. Very helpful host.

I would definitely return - clean, friendly, nice breakfast included and really good value

Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff, my room and shower room were lovely and clean, in a quiet and safe feeling area, 10 mins walk from the centre of town, hot water, tasty varied breakfast included (photos of my breakfast on the three mornings I was there). Really good value for money.

Cons: I found the bed really uncomfortable. But that might just be my preference. Not very much soundproofing so I could hear other people coming and going. But I haven’t stayed anywhere in Cape Verde where that isn’t the case! Hot water was only enough for a shortish shower, so if there were more than one person in a room, one would have to wait for the water to heat up again I think. No one ever replied to the messages I sent to them on WhatsApp. Despite the negatives, I extended my stay from one to three nights when I was there as everything else was so nice.

Pros: Kind staff, room with basic interior but functional

Cons: The key for the building door was crazy.

Pros: had an apartment, a bit old but okay for the price... reasonably clean.

Cons: no sofa, just a single bed in the living room to sit on. shower is tiny.

Pros: Sonia and her staff have been really friendly and helpful with everything! Location is really quiet and you can walk around without worries. 10 min to the beach and 15 min to the center on foot I had the little apartment and it got cleaned every day, they change towels and sheets on a regular base. Breakfast is prepared freshly It's true there's just a fan and no AC,but when. you open all windows and balcony doors before sleeping,it's OK with the temperature would definitely come back, muito obg!!

Cons: the shower was tiny! Even a slim person gets almost stucked in there. Everything else was super

Pros: A lovely quiet place with comfortable bed and pushy soft towels. The breakfest was basic but I didn't need more.

Pros: Nice staff and quiet neighbourhood. I had a short but much enjoyable time.

Cons: Not really a complaint but the water pressure was a bit low but overall it was manageable.

Pros: Sonia and the staff are very friendly and nice people. The apartment was huge and very confortable and the breakfast every day was different and delicious. Thank you!

Very nice place to stay

Pros: I appreciate the hotel's convenient location and the included breakfast. The staff's genuine kindness and dedication to personalized service truly made my stay memorable. They went out of their way to prepare meals to my liking (I'm vegan) demonstrating a level of care that is rare. The hotel is simply charming and very clean. I am a frequent visitor here.
