Bem-vindo a Mindelo

Pros: Really friendly staff, very helpful when arriving rhe first time on CV. Top clean rooms, splendid view from the little terrace and good breakfast to start the day. Above it's a very good location for single travellers because you can meet like-minded people.

Cons: Like everywhere on CV it seems not common in the rooms to have more storage possibilities, especially when one is on a longer journey.

Pros: Good kommunikation, fleksibel arrival (at midnight). My room was very basic - but very clean. Breakfast good for price.

Pros: The accommodation is easy to find & well located a short walk uphill from the centre of town. The host was welcoming and speaks good English. My single room was basic with just a bed, chair & table plus somewhere to hang clothes. However, the bed was comfortable and the shared bathroom was clean with a good hot shower. The accommodation has a lovely balcony to relax & have breakfast on. Breakfast was very good.

Cons: Wifi was patchy and didn't work half the time I was there

Pros: You find the true meaning of “morabeza” in here: top notch hospitality. Breakfast is great and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. I stayed a week and it felt like home.

Pros: Breakfast on the balcony was very enjoyable, and the hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. The room was clean, and the stay was overall very pleasant. The bathroom was shared, but it didn’t bother me.

Pros: The owner and the other ladies that work there are all very friendly and helpful when you ask for recommendations or have any questions about Mindelo. The breakfast is delicious, both savory and sweet things. The only thing that can be improved is that the wifi didn't reach to my room. Apart from that, everything was great. Everything was always clean. The location is good, you can walk to the center in 10 minutes and it felt safe at night. I would definitely stay again.
