Very welcoming and kind

Pros: It was in a great location, close to the beach and close to bars and restaurants. The staff were exceptional and friendly, the ladies at breakfast were lovely and it was a beautiful view on the rooftop terrace. Spotless rooms and Irene made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We also had a tour with the hotel which was brilliant Joâo was a great guide. And we booked a taxi with them which again no issues. They had pictures of recommended restaurants and ones for which to avoid due to bill tampering. Super helpful :)

Cons: The only thing I could say would be the WiFi is a bit slow but I believe this is a Cape Verde thing not just this hotel :)

A great place to stay, highly recommended

Pros: A unique hotel, everything from A to Z is well thought out, and Irene and her team take perfect care of their guests. The room was large, clean and lovingly furnished, we lacked nothing. The bathroom was also wonderful. Breakfast on the very cozy rooftop terrace is excellent and also offers a nice selection of local delicacies. The hotel's location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk to the beautiful beach and countless nice restaurants. In total: SIMPLY AMAZING! :-)

Cons: It's very difficult to find anything negative. ;-) The only slightly annoying thing is the regular power outages (and the associated water outages). But these are usually only temporary and besides, it's not the hotel's fault.

Excellent place to spend a few days - the highlight of our Cabo Verde trip!

Pros: Great B&B for a few days stay in Tarrafal. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was amazing and the staff is really great. Would happily come back!

Pros: Well appointed accommodation in a great location, close to the beach and several nice restaurants in the centre of Tarrafal. They were very helpful organising hiking trips (Silvio was an excellent and knowledgeable guide!), taxi transfers etc.

A perfect place to stay in Tarrafal!

Pros: Casa Alegria was a perfect place to stay. The apartment was large, spacious, and clean. But the real added value was Irene, who, together with her husband, helped us with everything and made our stay perfect. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone

Can only recommend staying here when in Tarrafal!

Pros: Irene and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, the room was clean and tidy. We accidentally left some belongings at the B&B, and Irene went out of her way to help us get them back. Truly excellent service!
