Kaza Awa - Urban Guesthouse

Pros: We had a great stay at Kaza Awa. Our room was big, clean and had air-conditioning. We booked the room with bathroom which was big enough with hot water. We could use the kitchen and fridge which made our stay even better. The host was friendly and was always willing to help us out. The location was good and safe. Close to the beach and also Plateau was just a 30min walk or short taxi ride away. Can highly recommend a stay here!

Pros: The host was friendly. I only stayed 1 night but is a nice big appartement. The area is very nice close to a good beach prainha and restaurants. I recommend Anabel, only few mins walk from the apartment for good breakfast and brunch. The room is big, has all you need, the toilet is good too very clean and comfortable. Has a kitchen for your use, well equiped. I deffo recommend it.

Cons: Nothing, the only thing is as sharing with people it can be a bit noisy sometimes but is not a big deal. People respect others space so is a good place to stay.

Pros: Sonia and Steph were very kind and helpful the room was tidy, the location of the appartement was perfect near quebra beach and around 30 min walk to plateau. I arrived around 1 am and the contactless check in went well.

Quiet, budget, convenient, close to the infrastructur, beaches and restaurants.

Pros: The localization is great and in a safe environment. The room is spacious, the bathrooms clean and well-equipped and the area is quiet.

Cons: There was an issue with my key and the doorlock. But the owner took perfectly care of it and he let me check out late for free.

Pros: The air conditioner was really good, everything very clean and well organised. Sonia was really nice with us.

Pros: The contact person was really flexible with my stay. Due to the delay on the boat I ended up arriving later than the checking-in hour which was made easier by using the self check-in. I would just give instructions on how to open the outside gate. On my last day, my boat trip was also delayed and since I had a lot of luggage I asked if I could have a later check-out, which was possible and they let me leave my stuff with them until 17h. Really nice and talkative cleaning lady that gave me helpful tips for my next trip to the island of maio.

Pros: The apartment is well located, clean, has hot water and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

Pros: Amazing value for money. Twin room was comfortable. Great WiFi. Hot water and shower pressure a plus. Ironing facility and a kitchen. It would be helpful to receive detailed instructions from the host as to how to find the place and how to access the flat as the lady there does not speak any English. Shared bathroom can get a bit smelly.
