Hotel Casa Evora - luxury and beach front

Pros: The hotel is right on the beach, offering a great panoramic view from the terrace. Its location is very central, with everything within easy reach. The room is spacious, nicely and tastefully furnished, equipped with mosquito netting and shutters. The double bed is amazingly comfortable. Breakfast is hearty, with a great selection of dishes. The breakfast waitress is worth her weight in gold. :)

Cons: The red ceiling lighting in the bathroom is still a mystery. :)

Great location

Pros: Great location, near the beach and great oceav view. The rooms are clean and the staff is nice.

Cosy seafront accommodation

Pros: The location is perfect! The beautiful sea is just in front. We can also see the sunset. The water of the sea is crystal clear. All the staff members are very attentive and nice.

Excellent location!

Pros: It was right across from the beautiful beach and ocean. Very conveniently located near restaurants and shops.

Cons: Nothing.

Great place to relax and enjoy

Pros: We loved our stay at Casa Evora. The location is great, the room was really nice, clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and nice. The place is decorated with really good taste. The place feels welcoming and cozy. Probably the best accommodation we stayed at during our trip in Cabo Verde.

Cons: Nothing really. Breakfast is expensive compared to the prices in other places. In any case, we had it one of the mornings and it was really good and filling.

Highly recommend! Perfect place to stay in Maio

Pros: The location is on point, facing the sea, just 2 steps to the beautiful beach of Vila do Maio. Bars and shops walking distance and easy to get to. The staff was super friendly, nani was reachable all the time I needed, the place was very nice and clean. The hotel was very good, I liked the decoration. I had a super good time while there so my review is mainly positive.

Cons: The only thing I can say is that the shower is not well designed, there is no door to close so the water goes a bit everywhere, it's a bit messy on the bathroom after a shower. The fridge was not connected, I thought it was not working but actually I saw the note saying they would charge more if I use it (that's what I understood on the note of the fridge) so I decided to dont use it at all. It can be a bit noisy sometimes as my room was next to the street and to be fair is not very good soundproof but is very quiet town so in reality most of the time will be peaceful.

Very well located, need Air Conditioning

Pros: Very well located and relax guest house. Location is the best one.

Cons: Unfortunately, we book a hotel because of the confort in the room but not having air conditioning spoiled our experience. In general the guest house is quite good understanding the reality of the island, probably one of the best, but I couldnt sleep during 3 nights because of the temperature. Also not to have Gel and Shampoo is not expected. Breakfast could be much improved with better quality of juice and is not about variance, but make it with more personalized.

A DREAM COMING TRUE !!!

Pros: 1.BREAKFIRST Tasty & varied berakfirst. Loved it. However, if less expensive I surely would take it everyday. Maybe the property could make some extra profit with a better price, I guess. 2.LOCATION Wonderful location, amazingly beautiful! Have to confess that I am a Djarmai lover since ever ! I am a frequent user of booking.com ( from Portugal, Germany, Cabo Verde - I now live in Praia, Santiago Island ). They also gave me a really surprising offer to upgrade my stay and I could take the excellent Cesaria suite. It overcame my higher expectations! Suggestions ...?

Cons: 3.FURNITURE I felt a little bit uncomfortable with something that I want to share, just to improve the great permofance of Casa Évora. Take it as a frienfly approach shared by a 'fan'! Would you like toconsider to use a kind of replaceable 'cover' up on the sofas ? I find it could be a very functional option as the current one it made with fabrics

Amazing! Would have stayed longer if I could have

Pros: This place was great! Staff was friendly, room was big and clean (was also cleaned every day), the location was perfect, breakfast was good and served on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Would have stayed longer if I could have (unfortunately we were depending on the ferry to Santiago)

Cons: A bit of shampoo and shower gel would have been nice, but it's ok.

Good to say with nice view from balcony

Pros: Location was close to port. Restaurant and shops nearby. Manager Nanie and Christine was excellent with their service.

Cons: More flies and mosquitoes around the house. They have net. More noises from locals but it’s ok. Outside at day time more flies and night another flies. So please close the netted windows. The room was hot I don’t why.
