Nice place to rest and relax.

Pros: Very kind and amicable staff - in fact - it is the staff that makes this place. They treated us very kindly and always with a smile. The activities are a lot of fun, even if you just decide to watch people.

Cons: Instead of having so much food, I would have preferred to have less food but of better taste. But again, this might vary from individual to individual.

Good place to finish a wonderful experience of Cape Verde.

Pros: Great location, nice staff, good food. Alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, classic cocktails) were included in the all inclusive, which we were happy about.

Cons: Air conditioning wasn’t working in one of the rooms. Sauna was out of order.

Wonder week of kind people, sun, sea and caprinhas

Pros: Very clean, wonderful beach, great facilities, good quality drinks - we loved it

Cons: There is always a bit of wind (march) which is great if you love kite surf - most days it was very cooling but at night can get cold.

Lovely to sit in the sunshine on the equator in November !

Pros: Breakfast in the main buffer was extensive with the usual range of made to order eggs etc. But it was a bit noisy and busy. As a member of the Level club we had access to an adjacent sit down and order breakfast that was calmer but just as good

Cons: I got a food bug and had a poorly stomach for 4 days. Although I reported it to reception twice, there was no real interest, noone followed or took a report - until I asked for the manager on our day of check out In addition was hotel was good and up to standard but there was not much of interest to do on the island it although it is called Cape Verde it is actually largely barren and sandstone so not visually appealing !

Superb resort

Pros: The hotel provided a good range of meal options at every meal. I was very pleased with the vegan options which were always so tasty. Staff were always very welcoming and happy to help, particularly Daniel in the restaurant. I used the gym a few times and the machines were fine although there are limited options. It can get quite busy in there but still much better than many hotel gyms that i’ve used before. The drive to santa maria is about 10 minutes so not too bad and it costs €5.

Cons: the food at the buffet was average. it would be better to have smaller choice but better quality.

A very relaxing time with great weather in November.

Pros: We loved the location to the beach - a promenade to stroll along or jog if you were so inclined. We had booked a deluxe swim up level room which entitled us to our own lounge with snacks and a bar with all inclusive drinks. Also we were able to book (via the Level Lounge Reception Team) all of the other Meliá Hotels which were all walkable to the hotel we stayed in. All the staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Always having to be up early to put towels out on the sun beds. The bed was particularly hard for us and the pillows too but we did sleep quite well.

Pros: Big complex with good rooms. Food good. Fun cocktails Bikini beach great! Massage in spa excellent.

Cons: Terrible wine in the all inclusive package
